“We discovered this gem of a coffee shop during a weather induced stopover in Quincy on our way from Chicago to Oklahoma City. The proprietors, Margarita and Bill, were warm and welcoming and regaled us with tales and history about Quincy, Mark Twain and the surrounding area. The coffee was excellent as was the food and we were charmed to have found respite there when most other shops were closed due to the weather! The decor was homey and rife with green plants and local art. We will come again!“
“I’ve come to the pour haus for a working space, family time, and for a quick coffee grab. It’s always been good quality drinks/eats, friendly baristas, and a relaxing, comfortable space. I’ve enjoyed this ambience and recommend anyone to try it out for any occasion!“

“I can’t hype this staff up enough!! I stopped going to SB here in town because my drinks were never made correctly. Now I’m an almost daily customer and it has never once been wrong at this location. The drinks are always on point and the staff is THE BEST. Top of the line!! “This was my favorite part about my entire visit to Quincy! Their tea blends are delicious and well priced. Unique flavors and options. The lady at the desk was very nice. I live about an hour and a half away so I love that I can order online aswell. I've probably bought 15+ teas here and I recommend everything!“

“I frequent Starbucks daily and this is an issue! I have addressed it. But it has happen three days this week. I have not called! I hate being that person... but when you pay that much for a cup of coffee, I want a full cup of coffee not half a cup of foam! So I got a $3 cup of coffee and paid over $6! I wish they would take the time to make it correct! I have been coming to this location for years and they know me!!! I love this location and workers they are amazing! But this needs to change and need to make a full cup! They do usually compensate but I get tired to of having to address this and I’m sure they think she’s complaining again! But I want my monies worth“

“Decided to try something different apart from the usual Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts (because I’m a sucker for an independent coffee house). EFB’s coffee is extremely smooth, delicious and the atmosphere was amazing for the small amount of time I was in there. The barista was extremely friendly. Definitely will be a go to for me from now on when I’m in Quincy!“
