“It was cool. Met some friends on St. Paddy's Day for a happy hour drink. My beer was $6, and her ranch water was $9 (not sure what the happy hour special was), but it was a one and done with no issues. It's super dark inside even on a bright day, so if you are a day drinker, this might be your vibe. Not so much for me.“

“We wandered over to Ositos from Hyde Park, to try something new, and loved it. Ositos has delicious food, and really good cocktails in a cozy, unpretentious atmosphere. The service is warm, attentive, and they make you feel welcome like you’re part of the family. Very gezellig! The coquito was a delicious indulgence (I’ll be dreaming about it tonight); the pumpkin burnt basque cheesecake a delicious indulgence; the mole rosa, guacamole, wings, and the quesaditzin were all excellent.“

“Posto 31 is arguably the best restaurant and ambiance in the La Grange/La Grange park area. The food is consistently high quality at a fair price point. Portion sizes are great and the drinks are delicious.“

“This is a review for Nightshade. To get there, you go to the back of Moonflower then through the unmarked black door to the right and downstairs. There are two rooms - one for music/ dancing and the other with small tables for drinks. The night I went the music room wasn’t open (guess you have to know when it’s club night). A bit bare bones in terms of furniture/ atmosphere. But, the drinks were EXCELLENT. Not a huge selection but the table I was with ordered about four different drinks from the specialty menu and they were all better than I was expecting.
Though the downstairs is designed for drinking I saw people eating from the menu upstairs so apparently you can do that.“

“We rolled in as some sleeveless thirsty travelers late night on a Thursday. We were bathed in nonchalant hospitality. The quality of a bar can stand on the legs of a Strong menu but it’s only excellent when you have exceptional staff. The Scofflaw has the sauce“

“The interactive coin op playground of the Chciago arcade / bar scene. Priced for a cash night out- cc welcome and there is an atm. Street parking is easy but ya know how that is- taking CTA or Rideshare to Logan Square is simple. Order bites and shareable from Fry Like An Eagle next door and they deliver! Say hey to Dr. Z and be kind to the staff they are great humans there to make sure you have fun!“

“Stopped by here for a quick drink while waiting for our table at the overpriced fancy restaurant down the street. Drinks here were on point, great service, great vibe. The fancy place down the street ended up sucking, we should have just stayed here and had tamales and beer.“

“A pleasant neighborhood brewery, bar, and restaurant. We generally order burgers or fish and chips, and enjoy a local beer with our meal. We ordered soft pretzels for our ap, which came with two amazingly good dpping sauces - yum!

“The penultimate neighborhood bar with plenty of characters, shenanigans, and fun! It's our "Just One More" place. Bikers, Rock Stars, and Divas will feel right at home. Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“

“Indoors only - dog friendly tavern that encourages patrons to try the infamous Malort.
Jeopardy was on at 4 pm and everyone participated! Bordering Ukrainian village this gemstone is to be sought after! It is a neighborhood tavern not a fancy place and the bartender is versatile !“

“Everything was great, with the cheese/foie gras plate and octopus as the standouts. Will definitely be back! We got in line around 5:15 and were one of the first parties in line, which meant we got to sit at the counter and watch the cooking (very cool). If you don't feel strongly about that, probably no need to line up super early.“
“I've been knows the number of times and I've always liked it. They've done a lot building out the rear space and that's nice to have expanded area because it was a little bit tight before. They have a stage in the main area which allows them to have entertainment.“

“We went for my birthday and the food was AMAZING. The appetizers, entrees and drinks were great. The owner was awesome as well. Chesa was wonderful. The restaurant had a vibe too. I would highly recommend this place. The sweet and sour cauliflower and cornbread was delicious.“

“I popped in just to meet my friend but then I had a dirty martini and now I am OBSESSED with it. You don’t expect much from a dirty martini right? It’s dirty. That’s it. Yum. And this was…… so good. Something about this dirt. Cuz I asked the bartender and he was saying something about the brine, it was somehow floral? He said the brine - not the vermouth. Idc. I just want another one. And then there’s the story: which I never got right, so I will irresponsibly spread it around here to generate more sensation. Something about… the original owner was tragically shot and died on the premises, in the bar. The wife shuttered the place and went upstairs for sixty years. The new owners kept the interior, the bar has original wood work and features. It is o. L. D. In a good way. I have no idea if that story is accurate or true. But I loved believing it while I was in there. What a great thing to be so surprised by a bar on division in wicker park! I love Chicago!“

“A family friend took me here with my brother and I am so happy she did! This piano bar has awesome atmosphere and the musicians are so talented, it seems like they can play most songs on the spot. People can write a song request on a piece of paper and hand it to the musicians playing piano with a tip and they will play it! I highly recommend, this place has awesome energy!“
“This establishment is a wonderful addition to downtown Clarendon Hills. They offer a wide variety of cocktails, wonderful selection of wine by the glass or bottle and extensive beer menu.
The owner and staff here are so friendly and welcoming. It is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor beverage.“

“Quite the gem in Logan Square! Have seen DJs and Jazz performed here and each experience was absolutely lovely despite the contrast of the crowd. No food here but the quality of service and drinks totally make up for that.
The sound system is also great! Especially for live acts on weekdays with a more intimate vibe. One of my favorite spots in the city for music and chill non pretentious vibes. Did I mention, there's usually no cover here?? Highly recommend if you're looking for a spot with good music and drinks.“

“I attended Davern’s Tavern and Lounge over the weekend for a benefit. Wow!! If you’re looking for a place to hold a benefit, this is it! The outside grounds were very nice and spacious. The bartender and all the workers were so friendly and
helpful. Joe the owner, especially stood out. His love for Byron and this wonderful family was so evident. He was funny and held the guests attention, raising as much as much money as possible for them. He was more than just the owner of the bar, he genuinely cared about this benefit and everyone felt it.“
“This was my first time using 99 Haus Balloons for my daughter's 2nd birthday party and they went above and beyond!! Absolutely worth every penny and will be a repeat customer for all my balloon needs! Fabulous service, the product looked amazing and my daughter was in love with the balloons.
