“My kids and I stopped in here Tuesday after my son’s diabetic appointment. There was no carb information so I asked the waitress if there was any chance I could get that since my son is Type 1 diabetic. Without hesitation, she went back and spoke with the cook and manager. We had the carb information we needed and had 0 issues ordering. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The manager even came and went over the carb information with us. Thank you for helping ease this mommas mind. Something as simple as ordering a meal can be tricky for a child with type 1. And you didn’t snub us or treat us any differntly. Sadly, that does tend to happen a lot when asking that simple of a question. Our food was amazing and so was the service. We will most definitely be back!“

“Update:I DONT NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! high turnover on staff. every month there are new bartenders. Even when they over-serve an aggressive customer who then assaults you, they will blame you. They have cameras but will believe gossip instead. Numerous people have been banned for being a victim of assault. Bartenders have been fired for being friends of the victim. Bartenders have been fired for calling in because they had to take their dog into the emergency animal hospital. The day after I was assaulted and my glasses broke, I was lectured and blamed by the OWNER for causing another OVERSERVED CUSTOMER to assault me. If you come don’t talk and leave before people are overserved! Historic General store from 1870.In 1940, it transitioned into the great American rural tavern it is today. It’s s what Texas Roadhouse was before they sold out. No better authentic Tavern food around. Many bars, taverns, roadhouses, pubs, come and go, but there is a reason BUCKHART TAVERN had lasted 154 years. Great Beer, Great Food, Great Service, and Great People!“

“the burgers are always delicious, favorite of mine is the mushroom swiss burger and the western.
i highly recommend getting their horseshoes with grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, and fresno sauce (with the cheese sauce as well). its so good! remember to get a drink.

“Frank doing the damn thing on that flat top. The girls out front are always friendly, happy to help you, jovial and make every customer feel like old friends coming over to eat. “Delicious fresh food served quickly and with a smile. I can’t believe this spot has only been open 8 months! I will definitely be returning. Also getting to watch Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom while chowing on a fresh smash burger was awesome.“
