“I had a great experience at Krekel’s! I tried the cheeseburger, and it was delicious. YThe strawberry lemon ice cream was the perfect way to finish the meal. The combination of sweet strawberry and refreshing lemon was absolutely delicious.“

“This was the very first Culver's we went to. Our son lives in Maroa, which is north of Decatur. We were really glad when one was built in a town only 12 miles away from our town. We live in the southern part of Illinois and it is around 3 hour drive when we visit our son and his family.
Parking: There are quite a few spots for parking, but of course this is a busy place in a larger town, so sometimes it may be hard to find a spot, but food is worth the wait.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicapped parking spots. I hate to see when people who don't need them use them because they are too lazy to walk from the side of the building to the entrance.“

“I recently visited the Oakland location & lemme tell you they are a wonderful staff...one young man stood out with his exceptional customer relation was very kind, attentive and ever so eager to please with a infectious smile was Davone ...I so appreciated his professionalism. Serves was fast ...food great and bathrooms are the cleanest in Decatur ...as a patron to fast food restaurants doesn't matter how good the food is if you are treated like just a number, not here at this location they treat you like you are special! Davone treat that counter as a stage and the customers as your audience you will either move up at kreckels or someone will help you grow financially and professionally by hiring you for bigger and better things ...shine on young man and God bless 🙌“

“Food was absolutely amazing 👏 I'd highly recommend coming here if you're in Decatur Illinois. I seriously got my money worth instead of going to some fast food place which would have costed the same if not more. I spent 9 dollars and got a drink and a delicious double cheese burger that was cooked to order. 😋 they also have ice cream so it would be a great place to go for the kids, they have many flavors. And even with them being super busy I literally only waited a few minutes to get my food. I was very impressed about the wait time with it being cooked from order super fresh veggies and again I'd highly recommend coming here.“
