“We held a work party in the back room. The weather was great so we were able to open the doors in the back and be outside. The food was amazing, pricing was very reasonable for the amount of people we had, and the touch tunes machine in the back room was great for music.“

“This was our first time here. To the point, service was not the quickest but there was only 1 server and a cook that I could see. Server was nice and took good care of us. Took our order, brought drinks, did refills, etc., in a timely manner. Food was hot, good and plenty of it. Not fancy, good homecooked food and you don't have to do the dishes! Servings could have been 2 meals but I was hungry!😆 We had omelets, pancakes, French toast 😋. When you're riding down Main St., in Decatur, Il stop and try this local spot.“

“This was the very first Culver's we went to. Our son lives in Maroa, which is north of Decatur. We were really glad when one was built in a town only 12 miles away from our town. We live in the southern part of Illinois and it is around 3 hour drive when we visit our son and his family.

Parking: There are quite a few spots for parking, but of course this is a busy place in a larger town, so sometimes it may be hard to find a spot, but food is worth the wait.

Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicapped parking spots. I hate to see when people who don't need them use them because they are too lazy to walk from the side of the building to the entrance.“

“First time trying the New Moon Cafe and I was pleasantly surprised with the cafe. Lady complained a lot behind us but we didn’t have the same experience. Atmosphere was nice, staff were friendly, & food was hot and fresh. I ordered breakfast horseshoe. Will definitely be going back and recommending to friends and family!“

Orders grilled shrimp on side they was not cooked from inside still cold inside must have taken en it out of freezer n dropped in pan. The spinach artichoke was some of the best we’ve ever had, we both ordered the Delmonico steaks were cooked to perfection, don’t let the prices scare you worth every penny. “I live 5 minutes away from Friendly's and I go for breakfast so this review is concernd with breakfast only. I have gone for 2+ years of typical 2x a week for breakfast. I go early in the 6:15 to 6:30a range. My awesome Lissa, who opens 7 days a week is a phenomenal waitress and she makes the best bloody mary per my request. I have basically 2 menu items I do order from. But typically I get #12. Half order of biscuits and gravy, fried red potatoes, 2 sausage patties and 2 eggs over medium. Everything is smothered in jalapenos and I douse with redhot. I take 1/2 home for another meal. I can not say enough how good everything is, the service provided and having ample leftovers for a second meal.“

“Whenever you are in Decatur, The Wharf is a must! My first week in Decatur we found this little place that did not disappoint. First the service, it doesn’t get much friendlier than The Wharf. Whether you’re a regular or new to the place they make you feel like you belong. Cori will welcome you when you walk in and never forget your name or order. Ashlyn will wow you with her speed and overall fun attitude. All around, everyone working, and they work hard are great! The atmosphere is something else! I may be a little biased, I love a sea motif. It’s the place you would expect all the fishermen end their nights at after a day on the water. It needs to be seen to experience fully. Lastly, the food. I cannot emphasize how the quality of everything on the menu is the highest standard. Every dish looks as wonderful as it tastes. The presentation of each dish is so appealing that it is difficult to choose what to order. The cooking is at such a high bar, every bite is a perfect bite. They make it easy to need to return to explore the menu, which is balanced perfectly. Highly recommend the walleye sandwich! The drinks! How could I forget them? Have Cori mix you up one of the custom cocktails from the menu, Kiss the Captain is a favorite. The beer rotation is top notch thanks to Josh, owner and head chef, Josh understands good beer as much as he understands good ingredients in the kitchen. To summarize, The Wharf is a place that will feel more like an extension of your home then just a great restaurant. “Hi! This is the last guys bartender... I actually prefer my older crowd. They tip way better then you and any youngins you might be talking about and they leave at a reasonable hour.
