“Steve's is what I would call a neighborhood bar. On the small side inside but makes excellent use of the space. They have 7 or 8 TV's, including a large screen on one wall. There are video gaming machines, an ATM and karaoke on Monday nights. They serve food, including sandwiches, tacos, and other delights. And, of course, a wide variety of beers and drinks.“

“Last night we went to Chevin's Kitchen and Catering located inside Kavanaugh’s Hilltop Bar and Grill in Rock Island. This is the second time we have stopped in recently for the daily special. We are so glad we did. From the prompt greeting by the servers and bar staff to the made to order burger sliders with fresh cut fries everything was AMAZING! Our servers were on top of it and so friendly. The food was GREAT! If you haven’t checked this place out yet or if you have forgotten about one of the oldest bars in the neighborhood don’t snooze on this! Great food and great service! “It was karaoke night. The place was hopping. Bartenders were busy. We had an amazing time. Service was great and everyone was friendly. I accidentally left my credit card behind when we left. With one quick phone call, they returned my credit card via USPS in just a couple of days. If I'm ever in the area again, we'd love to stop by again.“
