Sandwich Shops near Rock Island

“I thought for sure I’ve already reviewed this place. But here we are again….. hungry hobo. I love you. You are better than Jimmy John’s, Arthur’s, and Jersey mikes. I will love you forever, I’ll love you for always, as long as I’m living, your sandwiches I’ll eat.“

“Would give more then 5 stars if I could! I work overnights at Trinity and placed an order online, not realizing they were closing in 10 minutes. When I got the confirmation email that my order would be delivered the next day, I called the store in hopes of catching someone before close to cancel. I was so pleased when the gentleman that answered the phone informed me that he had seen the order and that it was for hospital staff, already had it made, and would be having it delivered. Will definitely continue to give them my business!“

“Thank you, AK, for the very nice service. We were really happy to have subs at your place. The bread was very fresh and soft. The Chicken Teriyaki was outstanding, and the Veggie Delight was also very good. My kids really enjoyed it, and the staff was very friendly with them. I highly recommend this place. Thank you!“

“GREAT food at GREAT prices!! Very friendly owner and FAST service. I really like the west end griller. Give Jeffiez's a try you WONT' BE DISAPPOINTED!!!“

“Great subs and large dining room! Highly recommend stopping by and getting some subs :)“

“Discovered this little gem while waiting for my daughter at Davenport Junior Theater! It was AMAZING! I tried the veggie sandwich and the chicken rice soup- every bite was delicious! Great workers- great food!! I’ll be back FOR sure“

“After one visit, this has become my favorite sandwich shop in the area. As a fellow business owner, I appreciate amazing customer service and having customers feel seen and informed; which is exactly what I experienced after my first visit to a Jersey Mikes. Plus, our sandwiches were delicious. Didn’t realize what I was missing out on and I’ll definitely be back!“

“Went to Uncle Pete's Gyros yesterday and had the best experience tge food was amazing and staff is so great . The owners knew we were celebrating my moms heavenly birthday and came out w a special dessert to help honor her ❤️ they let us share our memories of her and her love for there family and gyros . Thank you for helping putting joy into a day that we often feel sad .“

“Delicious freshly made lemonade! Love the pecan berry salad. Someday I’ll try something different maybe. My husband loved the Mephian sandwich and mac n cheese. Great place.“

“Great job to the Moline Jersey Mike’s team!! I put in a mobile order tonight and the restaurant was pretty busy. I fully planned to wait for our order to be ready, since we showed up 10 minutes early. Not only was the Moline team extremely fast and bagging our order when we walked in the door, but they were very friendly! Keep up the great work!! 👏“

“Our team is dedicated to providing a Sub Above experience! We appreciate every opportunity to serve and support our community.“

“I ordered a bowl of soup & a sandwich to be delivered by Uber Eats....who did a great job with delivery.....but I got my food & only got a HALF a cup....not a bowl of soup....that i paid over $7 for! Not happy with this 🤬“

“This is not a fast food place. The fresh ingredients, and meats are top quality. The "spuds", are from Idaho, and are the size of a dinner plate. I don't care for iced tea, but their strawberry tea, was the best that I've ever tasted! The service was wonderful, as well. This was my 1st time here, and we will definitely be back!“

“My first time at a Hungry Hobo and I had a very picky order (for someone else not me). Leslie was amazing and took great care of that the food was exactly how I needed it. The sandwiches were good and the bread was fresh!

Leslie - you gauge up the septum if you want!“

“Love this small business and its giant Reuben's! Tons of history houses in the business when you catch it open on Thurs/Fri. Perfectly toasted bread. Perfect balance of ingredients. Took a chance on the raisin bread and loved it. Thanks!“

“I "used the app to skip the line", however, when I arrived at the assigned time, they had not even started the order I had already paid for. I watched them make several people's orders while I stood and waited for them to complete mine. They offered me a free drink for the wait.“

“Came in tonight 30 minutes before close and Elizabeth was amazing she was so kind and I would definitely come back just to see her again. Also she was training someone I didn’t catch her name but Elizabeth was kind and patient with her she definitely deserves a shoutout.“

“Beautiful, new building- probably the nicest Subway I’ve seen. Plus they have a drive thru! Staff was very friendly and attentive. Food looked and tasted fresh. Spacious booths and plentiful seating. Clean bathrooms with nice-smelling soap! Wish they had a changing table but everything else was great!“

“Let me tell all of her friends who see this something about brielle...im a stranger she barely knows me...yes of course its wierd... but some odd months ago I lost my uncle to cancer

I watched him die slowly infront of me at iowa city hospitals...and his last breath he reached out for my hand...we were close close
Thick as thieves

Im sorry bree but your peeps need to know
The day after he died I wamted to kill myself..
Infact i had the glock to do it with...
But bree was working subway that day and she actually asked me how I was and what was going on... out of MY WHOLE DAY not one person actually asked how I was doing besides her...she responded by giving me a free cookie and telling me things would get better...that was months ago im still here... please if you love this girl like this post or comment

Shes incredible and worthy and honestly hee kindness that day kept me alive just enough to make it through..

When people say its the little things thats so true all she did was be kind for one split moment and here i am months later alive.... shes a flipping hero 👏“

“The woman working tonight was amazing, she was so sweet and made my sandwich perfectly, just how I asked. It was really close to closing time and she had a long line but her attitude did not change once. She was polite to everyone, She wore gloves and changed them when needed, & she made me a delicious sandwich!! To top it all off I think she was working by herself, nobody was helping her that I could see. I didn’t get her name but she deserves recognition!“
