“We live within walking distance of BSB and have dined here 30+ times since we have lived here. We have NEVER had a bad meal or a bad experience, which is SO impressive to say after that many visits. The food is amazing and the weekly specials are so good you wished they made the main menu. Their outdoor seating is great throughout the seasons and we loved bringing our dog here (and he loved it too). Now we bring our daughter who is a BIG fan of the mac & cheese and tots. This is a restaurant we will truly miss being so close to the day we decide to move.“

“We enjoyed our visit to Murphy's. Food and drinks were exactly what we expected. However, the visit had an extra bonus and that was Haley the bar tender who was fantastic. Friendly, communicated well and was just an all round nice person. Couldn't have been more helpful. She is definitely an asset to the pub.

“Found this lil restaurant by accident, and we were so fortunate!!! The atmosphere is great and the food is amazing. We asked our server Yasmine what she recommended and we followed her advice. I had the “Chicago Sandwich (i think)” while my wife had the Lasagna. Both were over the top great and highly recommend these to anyone, side note- she was super friendly and excellent in service.“

“Good affordable food. I used to come here quite a bit when I lived in the Rockford area and have since moved out of the area. I came back for a visit and stopped through here. It has definitely improved quite a bit since my last visits. Extremely clean and friendly environment. My girlfriend just had a procedure done and was in a wheelchair and I'm assuming it's the manager went out of his way to make sure that he held both doors open to let us in and again when we were leaving.“

Manager, I believe her name is Dany was real helpful she apologized for the wait even though it wasn’t a big deal.. person at the counter was kind too didn’t catch their name and my food was fresh. “Fabulous Italian Beef Sandwich!!!
If I-90 Westbound had been clear on Saturday I would have missed out on the nicest bartender and the BEST IB sandwich ever. The shredded beef was melt-in-your-mouth tender, full of flavor and in generous supply on a soft but slightly crusty long roll perfect for dipping in the beef “jus.” The bartender took the initiative to check for reports on the road closure for me. Nice!
I had lots more road ahead so I settled for a Pepsi but the bar looked very well stocked and I’m sure I could have found a beer to match my sandwich. Next time I make this road trip I will plan a stop at Chewy’s even if I-90 is free and clear.“

“So the fries were hot. Burger was not. The girl making the food had gloves on. Then someone handed her the phone that rang and she grabbit it with her gloved hand. She worked one handed. Ended her call and left that glove on and continued making food with both hands. Gloves should have been changed. Touching onions pickles finishing making the burgers. Then tossing lettuce and tomato pieces around. Thats not right. Some need to learn the point of gloves.“

Every single time I’ve gone there, my order has been 100% correct, fresh, and hot—no mistakes, no missing items, no sloppy presentation. “Whoever took my order and made my food I just want you to know you're the real MVP! I got the fried shrimp basket with the cheese curds and Rootbeer on 5/10/26. Truth be told I was having a rough day and went on lunch to your location but when I got back I was pleasantly surprised to to find a nice helping of cheese curds I ordered- that made my day!
