Prairie Street Brewing Co. Reviews
Sub par service, terrible dessert- really awful aftertaste, very loud and when we asked to move our server never followed up with our request. Food was served under temperature as well.
Great food, friendly service, and a facility which is both clean and eye-catching. Definitely one of THE places to eat in downtown Rockford.
locally and responsibly sourced food. utilizing several local farms, and small businesses. a community first organization.

Prairie Street Brewing Co. is a must-visit for its beautiful building, river dock seating, and great location by the Rock River. The beer selection is impressive, featuring house-made options like the Dockside IPA, which has a crisp, hoppy flavor. The brewery offers a fantastic selection of beers, including the Screw City, a German light beer, and a recommended sour beer. Recent customers have praised the Dark Mild for its incredible flavor, along with other beers like the Oktoberfest. The food menu is solid, with tasty options such as Korean street tacos, beer cheese soup, loaded nachos, and the Rockford Burger with cheese curds, all well-marked for plant-based choices. The portions are generous, and the food is very good, making it hard to save any for later. For private events, the Peacock room is an excellent choice, providing delicious food and helpful staff. The outdoor patio is perfect for summer evenings, often accompanied by live music on weekends. While service can be slow when busy, with some customers experiencing a wait due to food being on hold, the attentive staff make up for it. The prices are fair, with pints around $6-$8. Parking can be tricky downtown, but the beautiful scenery and overall experience make it worthwhile.
