“We visited Lucha Canting for the first time tonight. It was excellent! I just moved back here after living in Austin, TX, for many years. I wasn't expecting the food and atmosphere to be as good and inviting as they were. I told my dinner companion the food was as tasty as any Mexican food I've had in TX, and it was beautifully presented. The way in which the restaurant was decorated made me feel like I was back in Texas! Lastly, our server was excellent. He checked on us just the right amount, and got our food out in good time. All in all, it was quite a pleasant experience!“

But otherwise no complaints. They were a little busy, so the review on service could be changed as I don't know their situation. “This place is a gem. I was a little scared to eat a good truck hanging out in the corner of Menards. I was hungry so I figured what could it hurt… It was amazing. I was in Beloit for work so I tried their other truck - also amazing. It was so good I had to show a co-worker so three days in a row I ate here. After typing this I’m now hungry and bet you lunch I’m having their tacos today :)“

“¡No se caigan en la trampa de propipina aquí! / Don't fall for the tipping scam! (English below) Fuimos el día 1 de octubre 2022. La comida estuvo bien y el servicio también. El problema es que no traen cuenta a la mesa y cuando pagas la cajera solo te dice el total. Mi esposo pagó y dejó propina como siempre. En el carro se fijó del recibo y vimos que había una carga extra de propina llamado "loom". La parte de abajo del recibo explica que la cuenta automáticamente carga con una propina de 15% por grupos de 4 o más, que éramos mi esposo, mis 2 hijas y yo. El problema es que no hay ni anuncio en el restaurante ni dicen al pagar. Además el sistema de tarjeta todavía hace la pregunta de propina!? Así que dejemos doble propina - $9.73 por una cuenta de $29.51. Es una trampa y me pregunto con quién se queda la carga automática ¿el dueño o la mesera? We went on 10/1/22. The food was fine as was the service. The problem is that they don't bring a bill to the table and the server just tells you the total when you pay. My husband paid and left a tip like always, but he looked closely at the receipt in the car and saw an extra charge called "loom." The very bottom of the receipt explains that loom is an automatic 15% tip for groups of 4 or more, which in this visit was my husband, my 2 daughters and I. The problem is that there's no notice in the restaurant nor do they tell you when paying. Additionally, the card system still asks if you want to add a tip?!? We ended up leaving a double tip - $9.73 on a $29.51 bill. It's a scam and I wonder who keeps the automatic "loom" charge - the owner or the waitress?“

“Little Mexico is phenomenal! Their staff here are nice, decent, and attentive. They all know how to treat their customers well. On top of that the food is amazing. The menu was huge and they variety of food options. You won't be disappointed at this place! Can’t wait to go back again.“

“This place is similar to Chipotle. Do not go to Chipotle. I like that they make their tortilla shells in front of you and you can see them cook the meat and the veggies. I like that their steak isn't chewy and it always cooked well. Their prices are better than Chipotle too.“

“I recently celebrated my wedding at La Casa Grande. Everything was amazing! The owners are amazing to work with and the staff in general is out of this world. Coming from a Hispanic community, the food was delicious and everything was just great. We are very thankful and appreciative of everything they did for us. Angie and Peter are phenomenal. I completely recommend hosting your events here.“

But Saturday night around 11:00 there wasn't many options so I pulled in and they had their two fiesta tacos for $5 and I have to say they were actually quite good nice chunks of chicken I was actually quite impressed. I believe you get a choice between steak or chicken for their tacos. Definitely going to have to stop in again.“

“I like it that they finally got someone to work at this restaurant. In 2023 and 2024 I would not go to the store unless I was hungry and I really had to go there. I would usually try to make my way to Janesville on Milton Street to go to that taco John’s store because I was very satisfied with everything that came out out of that store now I see at the end of 2024. They have closed the Janesville store on Milton. Well now I have no choice but to eat at the taco John’s in Beloit Wisconsin so I went there the other day and it seemed to be stepping it up in the drive-through. I do not go inside because I do not want to mix company with anyone coming in with any type of sickness so I always go to the drive-through.“
