“My first visit to Char Kabobs was excellent! I wasn’t sure what to order because I’m not (yet!) super familiar with the cuisine. The chef? recommended the Chicken Boti wrap and it was delicious! I’d asked for it spicy and it had the perfect amount of heat for me. Freshly prepared, flavorful tender chicken, lots of onions, just the right amount of lettuce and delicious sauce all wrapped up in fresh flat bread. I will definitely be back to try more items! Highly recommend!!“

“I just stopped in for lunch carryout, and I am beyond impressed. I picked up a chicken tikka masala rice bowl with a side of chicken samosas and sat down to eat -- the meal became the highlight of my work day.

The rice bowl came with more than enough food to bring some of it home to the family. I didn't offer any inputs on spice level or anything, and it came out with an excellent combination of proper heat and flavor; love was found in every spoon, and I can't wait to try more from their menu. The samosas are deliciously savory and have a nice crisp to them, and come with a sweet sauce that pairs very well. Their prices surprised me! ~$16 for enough food for two people!

“We had brunch at Shahi and it was a get together of almost 75 ladies. the quality of food , taste and service was out of this world. just the Chinese noodles were extra spicy but rest was 5/5. I love the decor, taste and hospitality since the owner Rahila Al Karim took over.“

“This Lous was built on the concept of turning customers. Was there during lunch and it was at most 1/2,full. Sadly, it was almost impossible to have a conversation as the noise in the restaurant was ridiculous. Sooooo noisy people leave to hear themselves. “This was my first time visiting Al Badia when I first walked in, I was welcome by all the staff with smiles on their face, amazing attitude vibe and the spirit in the restaurant was amazing. The food was top notch. Amazing selection in the buffet. They have a lot of variety of different foods. All of them were good and amazing. “Updated review: Best halwa puri in Chicagoland! You get 3 extra extra large puris and a plate of deliciousness - halwa, cholay, potatoes, and achar. We had a large group and although the restaurant was very busy, the service was on top of it and made sure the food came out timely, fresh and hot! Everyone in our party commented on the food and we all left very full and satisfied. Thank you 5*

Ordered to go: karahi gosht, Karachi chicken biryani special for the day, and the bbq platter (which takes about half hr to prepare) - all dishes were so good! It is a bit on the spicier side but family enjoyed the food.“
