“Stopped there on our way to AllState Arena, amazing food, and such a kind owner! Super clean and beautiful inside! We had a vegetarian in our group, and this little gem had so many options for her!“

“It wasn't bad ...but it wasn't mind blowing either! It kind of felt like a scrap plate with a little bit of everything! I do love that they have vegetarian options...kudos on that! Very reasonably priced. Free parking and the wait wasn't too bad.“

“Clean and tasty, excellent friendly service and priced fair-ish.
I had the Pad Kee Mao w/tofu. The dish was steaming hot and the portion huge!
I ordered it “high spice” and well, that did not happen but that’s fine. I asked for chili paste. Just that most times food cooked with spices is far better than food with spice added on top. The tofu was excellent and plentiful. I did not taste any basil. Tons of fresh vegetables.
If I lived here I would come frequently. I would only ask them to use less oil because there’s a lot of glistening oil left over on the plate. For most people who pay attention: way too oily“

“One of the best filipino shops i have tried.
Sisig is really good.
Laing is wow!
Goto is pak na pak! :)
The desserts like leche flan, carioca, turon, halo halo, maja, and cassava cake are the best too.
Must try!

“It's actually a gift store with tons of beanie babies and garbage from eBay. There were some items called 'antique' probably in the literal sense, it's been sitting there forever. I did buy some stuff though like Porcelain fisherman for my dad and some musicians with odd expressions“

“A small, korean BBQ restaurant in a strip mall on Mt Prospect. We were greeting right away and sat at your table. The tables are separated and private from others. The servers was attentive and took our order quickly. Bottled water is sevred with every meal. We ordered the meat and seafood combo ( steak, chicken, shrimp, and squid) which it comes with a lot of meat. You get a dumping soup that was very filling. The meat is very well seasoned and cooks nicely on the grill. The side dishs were very good. I didnwish they had korean potatoe salad as one of the sode doshes. At the end they also give you ice cream bars. The food and service were amazing. The only negative thing I can say is that it does get smokey inside the restaurant. I definitely recommend coming here and will visit again myself.“

“I'm glad that this restaurant is right by next door of my work place. Order here couple times per week.
I usually get BBQ pork, lo mien, salt fish, wonton soup and crab rangoon... all just perfectly good. They aren't too oily as so many other Chinese restaurants. The price is not expensive at all and dishes are huge.
Plus the reception girl is so nice and friendly. I def keep ordering foods here until I move out of this neighborhood ??“

“The food is great, but they started asking for tips. Yes, exactly to demand, I can't say otherwise. I pay by card and there is no "none" option on the screen. They had no choice. I know what I tip the waiter for, but I don't understand why I tip them here. I took the cutlery and napkins myself, poured myself a drink and cleaned up after myself at the end. Maybe I should start asking for tips too??“

“Classic cozy Asian buffet. Crabs offered on Sunday so the whole place is packed. Had a wait time of at least about 20-30 minutes. New crabs came out about 52 minutes after the tray was set. Food was okay for buffet quality. Fair diversity in selection of food. I only go with my parents since it is one of their favorite buffets for the crabs and price. Price was just around 20 per adult before tax. Drinks, other than water, cost extra and you have to ask staff for a refill.“

“THE place for Thai food in Skokie!
I ordered the tofu pad thai and lime chicken. Highly recommend these two dishes.
The lime chicken is nice and crispy and comes with a good amount of rice (in a fancy silver container). The pad thai is standard and always a solid pick. I just wish they put more peanuts in it!“

“good quality buffet for a competitive price. I prefer it over Golden Coral on most days when I am feeling up for a buffet.“

“We’ve been languishing, unable to find a Chinese restaurant that checks our boxes since we moved out this way - then along comes Tong’sTiki Hut. Not only did it check all of the boxes that we have on our list, but it also reached way in and checked boxes that have been empty since China Garden in Lake Charles LA closed in the 90s. It’s the Chinese-American-Polenisian cuisine of our childhoods and I honestly could’ve cried I was so happy. Perfection has been attained. Stop looking. Looking for a sit down, lovely restaurant (with take out options of course?) ✔️
Want other guests who had grown up here to recommending dishes?✔️
Do you like an origin story that includes waitresses pooling their money to buy the restaurant from a retiring owner way back when and who run it today?✔️
Do you want your iced tea in a tiki glass??✔️

WATER FEATURE???? ✔️
We started with tea and a Scorpion and crab Rangoon. Also got the meatless fried wonton knowing I’d be getting egg drop soup (which I did and it was delicious.) At this point we realized how big the portions were and decided to share the sizzling shrimp with golden rice.
Perfection from start to finish. Recommend EVERYTHING. We brought home leftovers and a whole new order of soup and will eat like kings for the rest of our days. GO HERE. Next time we’re after the egg foo young, Singapore rice noodles, hot and sour soup, Mongolian beef - pretty much the rest of the menu. It’s worth the drive from Chicago. It’s also worth the drive from Iowa (agreeing with the woman in the booth next to us.)“

“Tantan noodles was delicious.
Surprisingly, I didn't expect that tasty soup bowl at a food court restaurant.
The broth was rich and full of taste.
The greens were fresh, noodles were cooked well, and even the ramen egg, which I normally skip, was good.
I really enjoyed my lunch bowl.“
