“My server was excellent, attentive & very patient. I was looking over the deals for the month, price matters. I am a senior and he gave me time to gather my thoughts so I could order what I wanted. Sometimes we are rushed and not treated with respect. This was such a pleasant dining experience.

“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. First time trying their food. I ordered the Honey Bacon Brussels Hash, it was delicious. Savory, a touch of spice just right. Salted Caramel Holey Donuts were good. Looking forward to trying more.“

“Went there in the afternoon for late breakfast. Food was excellent ...service was crap..Waittress brought out my friend's food and didn't bring out all of my food till I was halfway through my meal. When I told a waitress she said that the kitchen was behind on putting orders out but I was there a 1/2 hour before they close? Food was excellent and a large amount and plan on taking leftovers home.

“First time at this restaurant.. came for a concert with my hubby and just googled a nice spot for breakfast.. and came here. The service from our waiter Caleb was fantastic! He was attentive friendly and made our experience great! I will come back 100% for sure!!! I will ask for Caleb for sure! “I went here for the first time last weekend and it was great! It was busy, but we wanted a booth so we waited a couple minutes and one opened up. The interior is very cute and retro with lots of fun decor on the walls. I ordered the 2x2x2 and the pancakes were super thick and yummy, and the eggs were some of the best over medium I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. My brother got the patty melt with fries and the free cup of soup- what a steal! The server was friendly and prompt. My only slightly negative is that it was a little warm inside for my preference, but it was a super hot day when I visited. If I’m in the area, I will be back!“

“My wife and I were very excited for her opening day. We normally order through their main café. Once we found out, they were opening up an express version the countdown began. The staff were very friendly, almost familiar like visiting family.

“Every once in a while you find a place that just does everything right.

Since I drive a lot for work, I love to stop in and try small restaurants when I'm out and about. They seem to try harder than the large national chains. Jelly Cafe in Mount Prospect is my new favorite spot. Clean and nicely decorated it has a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Their menu offers something for everyone. The food was brought out piping hot and was absolutely delicious.

Service however is even more important to me and Jelly Cafe does not disappoint. They instantly made me feel like I was welcome. I felt like they truly appreciated me stopping in. I really appreciate when servers smile and actually care about the people that are there.
