“So far I’ve eaten at Vasco’s twice with my coworker. The food is delicious. It is perfectly spiced, chicken is cooked to perfection and not dry. The garlic sauce is very tasty. It is very clean. The people working there are extremely nice and helpful. My coworker doesn’t know much about Indian food so she had a lot of questions. They were patient and answered all of the. The owner came to our table both times we were there to ask how things were. It is a place that you order at the counter and they bring it to your table. We are already planning our next visit.“

“Absolutely delightful meal! Wish I lived here just so I could keep eating here. We had the ganbyan somyan, and the noodles had the perfect texture and flavor! The tan su ji, kompot, teas, samsa chicken, manty, napoleon and rafa pistachio were all wonderful too. Didn’t have anything we didn’t like. Thank you, Sorry Mommy for a perfect meal!“

“We stopped here on a whim while we waited for a tire repair at the local Firestone. Super friendly staff. Lots of customers coming in to place orders. My husband daughter ordered fries chicken and chicken tenders with fries and they did warn us it would take twenty mins because they cook them fresh to order. They were the crispiest, tastiest, flakiest pieces of chicken. The fries were awesome too. I had a single chicken taco and it was fresh, flavorful and delicious! We also ordered some bubble tea blended drinks that were good. I'm glad we stopped here.“

I'll tell you, the fries and the Mac is pretty damn good. I went in when everything was freshly made, almost directly after opening. This was my first time trying it. Wonderful first impression. After traveling all day and parking at the Cumberland Blue Line, we came down the road to Bab Alsalam and I cannot rave enough how amazing this place is and will be coming back each and every single time we travel out of O'Hare. The food was not only delicious, but so much flavor punched into every bite. We ordered a Chicken Shawarma Entree and the Mixed Shawarma and both were exceptional in taste. Comes with salads, pita bread, and incredibly flavorful hummus. Attached is a photo of how much food they give you. It's massive. We had enough for leftovers the next day. “Took my date here from dinner as she recommended, and was pleased as punch that it was as good as she advertised! Service was lightning quick, atmosphere was very relaxing and welcoming, and the food was divine. It was my first time having Indian cuisine, and it did not disappoint one bit! I had the Butter Chicken and my date had the Cheese Dosa. Both came out hot and appetizing, and the Butter Chicken tasted amazing. 10/10, would absolutely eat here almost every day if I could.

“The wings were impressively crispy and this wasn't even fresh out of the fryer. I've had wings lose their crunch in the walk from the kitchen to the table. Yet, these held up perfectly even after being sauced and transported. The buffalo wings (right) were good but the lemon pepper ones (left) were excellent. Mac and cheese were also solid.“

A burger joint in a strip mall doesn’t inspire confidence, but you walk into this cozy place, with attractive wall murals, and somehow you get the feeling that you’re in the right place. We were in a rush, so came here for a quick lunch - ordered the following: double cheeseburgers, peri peri burgers, veggie samosa burger (off menu) and mango habañero wings….and EVERYTHING was fantastic!!! The double cheeseburgers were juicy, and succulent, the peri peri grilled chicken burger was tender and saucy, the wings were absolutely delicious, crisp despite the mango habañeeo sauce which had the perfect level of sweet heat. Lastly, the veggie burger - so the menu has FANTASTIC samosas, so when we asked if they had a veggie burger, they told us they can prepare a delicious burger using their veggie samosa. Imagine our skepticism, and then our utter shock, when it turned out to be the most delicious spicy, saucy samosa burger we have ever sunk our teeth in! Overall, an excellent experience, but with all the personnel exuding immense warmth and gracious hospitality. Definitely coming here OVER and OVER again!!! Yum!“

“I like to say “good food makes a soul happy”. When I'm having a tough day, nothing satisfies like good food. I ordered a double smashburger through Uber Eats, and it arrived warm with crispy fries. Everything was packed neatly, which made me excited to dig in. The burger was fantastic!! soft, perfectly seasoned, and the smash sauce was great! Unlike other places that over-salt their burgers, this one was spot on. I’ve found my new go-to spot. The fries were also a good portion. I’ll definitely order from there again, as long as they keep the seasoning consistent bc too much salt can ruin a meal!“

“I tried to order and the girl didn't understand English nor Spanish. She wanted to take the order but because of language barrier she got someone else. Guy was nice and recommended a pomegranate something cause I didn't like. Be careful the were charging me $1.49 fir sauces without telling me. He made it sound like they came free with chicken wings. I also asked him if onion rings were beer battered or breaded? He had no clue what that meant. Btw they are breaded and pretty good. They had good fries too. My daughter got a burger I think she liked. They have a cool machine to take a picture but its broken in back. I wanted the $20 wings but dude rang me fir two 10 pieces at $24. I corrected him in the end overcharging me $4. With experience of ringing my food not the best. Btw buffalo wings way better than the plain wings. Plain wings were looking disgusting and was super flavorless and bit cooked all the way. I went home a put in airfryer.“

“I had mixed feelings about my visit to Port of Peri Peri. The food was honestly excellent and full of flavor, so I have no complaints about the quality of the meal itself.

However, the customer service really let the experience down. The staff didn't seem friendly or welcoming, and when I asked questions, they either didn't respond properly or didn't seem interested in helping. The dining area also looked like it needed more attention—several tables were greasy and didn't appear to be cleaned promptly, which made eating in feel a bit unhygienic.

If you're planning to try this place, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead of dining in. I ordered the Byrd bomb and it was a very generous portion as I had hoped. The sauce is amazing, and the chicken is flavorful and cooked to perfection.
