“I'm from Atlanta but I've made this place here A MUST STOP whenever I come thru here. They have some of the BEST gd Lemon Pepper Wings you can taste!! I haven't had a chance to try anything else bc I'm loyal to their Wings. The Italian Beef was on Point,too ! I don't know what it is about Illinois & y'all Food,But Y'all be on POINT IN THE KITCHEN ‼ Worth Every Dollar💯“

“I recently moved into the area and had a gift card for schoops so i decided to stop in for lunch on a weekday afternoon. I had the schoops mickey which I'm not sure what the difference is between that and just a normal cheeseburger. Service was nice from the ladies. Atmosphere is like a retro diner. The place was well kept which makes me think they intend to keep that vibe going. At the time of this review, I paid about $18 for the burger, small fries, and a coke. That's not including tip. It's certainly not a place for the budget minded.“

“Came through the drive thru Saturday evening late....about a half hour before they closed. The girl who took our order was so sweet and polite. It was nice to hear someone be so kind and seem to love their job still so much despite all the craziness going on with places being short staffed. Our food was all correct and hot. “Went in on Tuesday of last week when the tornados destroyed our towns. When I tell you this building was packed from the front to back like sardines. The “kid” working the counter never seemed overwhelmed, kept a smile on the entire time - including while he was getting degraded and screamed at by some very unkind people. “well I'm really torn on if I should recommend or not... most of the time the food is fine but when it comes to fundraisers they are really really horrid. let's put a box out and not put anything on the box so the majority of the people have no idea about tossing their receipts in there for a cause... im pretty sure they make enough money where they can put something on the boxes for the customers... if they are so scared about losing money don't even bother... yesterday I was there around 4 and not one person threw a receipt in the box.. I was the first.... second fundraiser and second time unless you already knew, had no idea about it.. .“

We had the salmon paired with the rice and mash.That yellow rice complimented the salmon perfectly. No complaints about anything on the plate. I devoured the catfish, mac and cheese, and candid yams. They were all favorites, cooked to perfection. I don't have the stomach room to try the lamb alfredo but if it's anything like the other 2 meals, I already know I'm going to love it. All in all, it was worth the drive from Hobart, it was worth every penny, ($79), and it was worth the wait time. Consider us friends because I will be back!“

“We ordered the cod dinner on 1/29 and it was delicious. However, when we sat down in a booth we noticed an elderly lady struggling to walk up the icy sidewalk from the parking lot. When the young man brought our food we told him about it and suggested someone spread salt on the area. He was nice and thanked us for mentioning it. However, in the 45 minutes we sat there no one followed through and actually salted the sidewalk. Not good, Culvers.“
