McDonald's in Schaumburg

“The interior is clean, the food was fresh, tasty fries with nuggets. This facility has a playground. The staff is friendly.

Parking: There are not many parking spaces. But enough for customers. We had no problems with parking“

“This location probably has the slowest drive thru in town. The smaller location down the street is faster. Something is not clicking here. Two drive thru lanes doesn't help anyone. I'm going to ask a couple of the local YouTubers who review restaurants to compare this one with others. Stay tuned“

“Stopped into this McDonald’s this morning for a breakfast sandwich and an iced coffee. This is usually my go to McDonald’s, as it’s the closest to my home as well as directly on my path into work.

That said, despite coming here many times, I’ve never written a review on them. I’m not typically one to write reviews in general. However, today I feel they earned one.

Ordered my food/coffee via drive thru, as usual. They asked me to pull into the first waiting spot and they’d bring my order out to me. Not a problem. Unsure if the gentleman who brought me my coffee was an employee or manager, but he apologized for the wait and handed me my iced coffee.

I inquired about my breakfast sandwich and he seemed surprised I hadn’t received that already. I’m assuming the reason they had me pull into a spot to wait was solely for the coffee order. He ran back in to grab my food and, again, apologized for the wait.

I’d also like to point out that the wait was neither abnormally long nor long in general. They are always quick about getting you your food and the food is always hot and fresh.

Anyway, I told him not to worry about it, it was not an issue at all, and thanked him. After driving off with my food and getting to work, I opened the bag to chow down on my breakfast sandwich before heading into the office. There was a surprise hash brown in there, I’m assuming as an apology for the wait. He did not have to do that, as like I said it wasn’t even a long wait. But he clearly wanted to ensure I had a good experience. And I really appreciated that!

All of that to say, I’d highly recommend this McDonald’s. The staff are considerate and genuinely want to ensure you enjoy your meal. Thank you to the employee who did this and please expect my business again.“

“I usually go to McDonalds and try to order a fish filet with a whole piece of cheese plus pickle and tarter sauce. This is the first McDonalda that got it right and I want to thank the young man working Wednesday night who took the time to listen and understand that I paid for extra cheese and wanted the pickles and tarter sauce too. He also made sure due to my child that has a fish allergy the rest of my order was in a separate bag. I thank the young lady that took the order yet give a special shout out to the young man who came to the window to make sure my order was right. Thank you young man I pray blessings to you. I wish I had gotten your name. Be blessed.“

“The large fry is more like a medium because the box is ALWAYS half empty. If you have a complaint they do resolve it pretty quickly. Food and fries are always hot, not like they've been sitting there. If going inside to order, be prepared to use the kiosk. Clerks only help if you're paying cash and even then, you will be ignored while they prepare the other orders so be prepared to wait. It would be quicker to use the drive thru. Prices are way too high for McDonald's you'd get a better value for similar food at Wendy's or Chick fi la. Overall, this us my go to McDonald's.“
