It's a place full of locals that you can only find here!! It's got a fascinating back story and a ton of not just local history but Chicago history.! This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!! Are you in the mood for a drink??? Get it here!! Are you in the mood for a quick bite?? Well you can get it here too along with a nice fresh tap or bottle of what ever beer you like!!! “I really don't understand what people were saying bad about this place. Me and my Wife went there for the first time and it was karaoke night. Not only were we greeted very nicely by the bartender, but even the crowd treated us like we belonged. We didn't order any food, but the atmosphere was great. Will go back.“

“This is a perfect neighborhood cocktail bar. It's definitely nicer and more polished than your average bar, yet still approachable and my favorite spot to meet up with friends. A huge shout out to the staff- consistently kind, and happy to make recommendations. To top it off, the food here is amazing, not just your regular bar-fare. I legit come here for a full dinner as well as a drink. If I had to eat only one food for the rest of my life I would choose their cheesy potatoes in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!“

“My husband and I are visiting from Arizona and were meeting some friends in The Glen. We planned on going to The Yardhouse, but thought it was too noisy. Saw the reviews for The Oak and we were so glad we did. The burger I had was the best burger I have ever had, our friend felt the same. My husband and our other friend had the rueben, they loved them also. We left the restaurant and we were going to take individual pics, then this really nice guy offered to take a picture of all of us. He was so very nice. Guess what, he was the owner. We will definitely be back on our next visit here and our friends will be back sooner. Great food!!!!“

“Pete's has become our favorite date spot. We came in February for Valentine's Day, and have been four times since, including this past weekend for my birthday. It is always fun, there are always new songs, and the performers are amazingly talented. Christian, Tony, Anthony and Jeremy (sorry for any misspellings) are very creative, charismatic and always put on a great show. Our favorite servers are Bree and Miriam. Can't wait to come back!“

Live music most weekends, outdoors in the summer in a large parking lot. Everybody who knows, goes there. John & Sparklyn are good people!“
