“Grabbed dinner at Four Moon Tavern and it hit just right. Went with the pimento burger and a side of those beer battered onion rings. Burger was juicy with that cheesy kick, rings came out crispy and not greasy at all. Place has that classic pub feel, jukebox going, couple folks playing pool in the back, patio was open so we sat outside for a bit. Bartender was chill and kept the beers coming without any wait. Solid neighborhood spot when you just want good bar food and a laid back vibe.“

“I love rainbo club but had a really icky experience there tonight. Bouncer with a “lex” tattoo was a real prick. Snatched my ID out of my hand and literally jabbed it in my face giving it back to me (fully legal age/ID) and was all around really frustrating to all of my friends in line. Maybe just be a tad bit kinder? Or don’t work late night if you get cranky? 😅“

“I like this place I just wish they could actually serve you a pint at a reasonable price. Literally every beer is a 12 oz pour. Cheap beer is cheap at least but I'd still just want a pint if they offered them. Vibe is great though and they have a small patio to the side of the building.“

“Liar’s Club has some of my favorite bands on the regular, so I find myself there a lot. My band has played there too, and it’s a great experience - the room sounds good, with a solid PA system. Gary and the rest of the staff are awesome - the polar opposite of the snooty, hipper-than-thou attitude you get at some rock & roll joints. Drink prices are cheap, and parking is always pretty easy. The clientele is consistently asshole-free. Can’t think of anything bad to say about Liar’s.“

Street parking is easy but ya know how that is- taking CTA or Rideshare to Logan Square is simple. Order bites and shareable from Fry Like An Eagle next door and they deliver! The pours were generous so well worth the reasonable price. We got advice on a bottle to take home and came back a week later just to experience a bit more of this place. “Took a small group to Guthries Tavern over the weekend, we were supposed to meet the rest of our group at a different bar but Johnathan was so fun we convinced them all to come to Guthries instead. By the time we left it felt like we were at a comedy show. I asked Johnathan if he owned the establishment and he said, “oh no I’m not important at all, a great local family owns this place, Hannah and Matteo run it.” If you’re in the north side of Chicago, go see the tall redhead at Guthries.“
