Tried teriyaki sauce on the side and it was tasty but the veggies are all so seasoned so well that sauce wasn’t necessary and the meat was also super flavorful and marinated. Highly recommend. There was a bit of an issue trying to get food my wife could eat given she has a few food sensitivities which seemed to preclude her eating here. But once we got it figured out, we had a tasty meal. The owner waited on us personally and was somewhat helpful with the limited options on the menu for my wife. He is a friendly guy who takes great pride in his restaurant. “In this neck of O’hare, it’s the healthiest option, and at least when I went, not a bad one at all. A precious reviewer apparently had awful batches of food, but my chicken was just fine, and for a total of $15 I had a very large chicken salad chock full of veggies, plus eggs and chickpeas. Their house made honey mustard is really good. I’d skip the “smoothies” as they’re made of cartons of cream sludge, but the salad saved the day, and was served with a smile.“

“Goirdano’s left our area and I stumbled on to NPC. I ordered and was surprised they deliver to Skokie. I called an hour later and they informed me due to busyness our pizza was accidentally delivered to the wrong location. They quickly credited me the amount and still made a new order for us. The pizza was fantastic. Deep dish and margarita. They totally owned the situation and did their best. Pizza felt cleaner. Less additives or chemicals than Lou’s or Giordano’s. “Today was the first time I have ever Ben in a Portillo’s Restaurant, first time I have ever had an Italian beef sandwich. I have a Lotta friends in Fort Myers who go all the way to Tampa to get this sandwich and they continue to tell me how good it is. So this evening we decided to go to Portillo since I was visiting on my grandkids and my daughter and son-in-law, I really enjoyed that Italian beef sandwich. There are a lot of other good things on the menu, but that was what I was there for. Unfortunately, they do not have a Portillo’s Station FortnMyer Florida. I can only hope that one day they will build it there.“

“I went here to celebrate a birthday and I absolutely loved it. I got the chicken sandwich and my partner got the 8am burger with fries. They give you a mountain of fries. Both sandwiches were big and left me feeling full. The chicken is fried like a fish and I love the breading. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for varieties of burgers and a pretty chill restaurant environment. Parking was easy to find (street parking) and they have some games in the back while you wait for your food which is nice.“
