“Iced has definitely become one of our favorite, local stops!!! Whether it’s to swing by to grab an iced coffee, frappe and a cookie or stop to dine in for lunch! This cute little bakery has so much to offer while being able to stare out the big windows from inside or eat outside while watching cars go by the main road downtown. Truly has amazing tasting food! Never once have my boyfriend and I ever been disappointed! If you’re looking for a cute little diner/bakery this is it!! Everything is so fresh and so so delicious not to mention the staff is extremely pleasant and kind!“

The Ultimate B M T
The Champ

“Placed my orders and they were correctly repeated back to me, paid, got my sandwiches and drove the 30 minutes home. First sandwich was perfect and delicious, the second was pretty much as wrong as it could be. I ordered the Champ which is rotisserie chicken, onions, green peppers, cheese and sauce. What I got was turkey, ham tomatoes, lettuce and mayo. Best I can figure it was a american combo or something like that. I am assuming after they repeated it to me correctly somehow it was miscommunicated on down the make line. I'm sure it is a fine sandwich, but was about as wrong as I could be for my brain set to eat a yummy chicken based sandwich. Hope this is a one time thing so 4 stars for service, politeness, and taste. No 5th star since order was wrong, they did apologize on the phone when I let them know so I'm not going to hold a grudge. Give them a try just check the order if you do drive through.“

“Finally tried Tailwinds in Findlay, IL. Just a short drive into town from Lake Shelbyville. Been open since 1987. One of the newer owners was there as the chef last night. Tim was more than happy to show off his cool space. It’s spotless. Used to be a bank ? The old vault is now the refrigerated beer cooler. Gabby was our bartender & server. Her mother & she own 12-Layers bakery across the street. Try the homemade pie, trust me! Vintage wooden props & photos of planes adorn the space as decoration. Friendly locals strike up conversation with other tables between cocktails & glasses of wine. What a perfect date night spot for those looking to mingle with new friends. Thanks for having us! We will definitely be back.“
