“I ordered on the app for curbside pick up. I got there and informed them of my arrival, but even though I described my vehicle, no one came out for at least 20 minutes. So I had to Google the phone number to call. They said that they couldn’t find me even though I was parked right in front of the store. I never even saw anyone come out with my order. The cookies are so damn delicious though!“

“Dierbergs is the supermarket known for their local offerings, fresh produce, and inviting lighting. Typically when you are looking for something very specific, you visit Dierbergs. I would compare Dierbergs to Wegmans (if you're on the East Coast). There is something about the staff and lights that make you want to fill a cart immediately. The store is laid out in the fashion where you can get the seasonal items as soon as you walk in (think Christmas cookies or Halloween candy), followed by wine and cheese. They offer a hot food bar for those moments on lunch or just a quick save from cooking. There are not many brands (if any) that will not be available within the aisles. I have never had an instance of not being able to find something I needed/wanted. Checking out is a breeze and pretty standard when thinking of grocery stores. This location also offers a UPS for mailing or mailbox needs.“

“It can be incredibly difficult to find good vegan good, but I always know I can visit The Happy Bakery for a good meal served by smiling faces. The baked goods are out-of-this-world good (you just have to try those sprinkle cookies!) and the lunch/brunch options are just as delicious.You do not have to *be a vegan* to enjoy The Happy Bakery. Even if you eat meat for every other meal, you can go here and enjoy some fantastic food that just so happens to be free of meat and dairy products. I have taken friends and family here that were not vegan, and they all had a great time.“

“This is a great family run bakery. They are my go to place for cakes for any occasion. Always moist and decorated well. They do special request's for decorations and always wonderful. I'm always amazed at what they do. Service is great and new addition really a plus. Pictured is the latest cake they created for my youngest granddaughters birthday. Oh, I can't post until I rave about the radio bars!“

“I wish I could give ten out of five stars! I've always loved Hotbox cookies but it's been so nice having a location on the Illinois side of the river. The cookies were fresh and warm and they were so considerate of my partners peanut allergy.“

“Now, mind you, I didn't get to the bakery until afternoon.Finally made it to Woods bakery, and it was well worth the wait. Goodies galore, only problem they sold out of their Easter cookies. With that said, there was still plenty to choose from for my visit. Little pies and my favorite cherry with struesel crumbs, cinnamon Raisin Bread with icing, small cupcakes filled with icing, and last but not least, glazed donuts. I have to admit it was the best glazed donut I've ever tasted, so light & fluffy with just the perfect glaze on it. I could eat quite a few but stopped at one. Lest I forget, they make strollers, coffee cakes, mini cakes for birthdays, regular sized cakes and pies, Danish rolls, mini pies, cross buns, breads, noodles, muffins and tons of special cookies Frozen goodies, too, like carrot cake, cup cakes, birthday cakes.I'm sure I'm missing items, so go check out this delicious bakery. You won't be disappointed.“

“Absolutely phenomenal- the food was incredibly tasty and well-prepared (I ordered the vegan breakfast burritos and later came back for the vegan quesadilla for lunch), and the staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and very friendly and kind.I sat and worked on my laptop at the window bar while eating and enjoyed the sweet, sunshiney cafe environment that looks right out onto Main Street. Highly reccommend and will be a repeat customer for sure. Love supporting local businesses!“

“I cannot say enough about the staff that I had the opportunity to work with this morning regarding my online order that never arrived...due to operator error!! Upon arrival at 9:15am we discovered my online order had not been received nor prepared.....but the amazing team turned the situation around within less than 20 min. Minutes later I was exiting with 6 mini trios that were gift wrapped, tagged and ready for delivery as scheduled. Thank you to the owner and staff for saving me and fulfilling my order in the most professional way possible. I will definitely be returning very soon - I appreciate you!!!“

“They have delicious cinnamon rolls IMO soft and sweet. The ladies are very nice and friendly. We were able to meet Trish the owner and baker which a superb and nice lovely lady. Definitely recommendable. My favorite rolls is the Bacon Maple rolls. Will definitely come back. Still need to try their other stuff like the snuggle dog and sausage roll!“

“It was a delight coming here to get my family some sweet treats! My favorite was the German chocolate cake. My children and husband loved the cookies. My husband said the oreo cookie was his favorite! I love how Military are honored here with a Military discount!“

“Wonderful little bakery / cafe with a great atmosphere! Greeted with a hearty welcome, and even though I wanted to try the crepes (they were out), the Creme Brûlée French Toast (soaked in Grand Mariner) was a delicious second choice! (Especially after fasting for a blood test!)Had a great tasting Tropical smoothie which kept me sipping all day.They have lots of vegan and GF options!“

“I came up here a couple Saturdays ago and it was a little upsetting because I got great service and everything was perfect except for one thing. I don’t know HOW I see the same exact girls every single day. I could tell they were struggling keeping up with all the orders and the people behind me thought the same. We can tell they need more workers. DESPERATELY. I mean the way they were having to scramble at lightning speed to get the orders done and out on time was very upsetting to me. I’ve worked at places that were understaff (especially after Covid) and I honestly applaud them for handling it so well! Keep up the great work ladies!“
