“My husband & I stopped here for the first time today after having our car serviced at Romeoville Toyota. We got there just before the special lunch prices ended, but Jeed was gracious enough to allow us to have lunch. It was delicious! Everything was hot & fresh and we really liked that they don’t use MSG in their cooking. We had such a pleasant conversation with Jeed (it’s just she & her cousin running the place, so go see them!) about Thai food. She even brought me a sample of Thai iced tea that was delicious! “Cute little place to stop for wine and cheese in downtown Plainfield. I tried the flight of white and my husband had the mixed which included white rosé and red wine flights which were both excellent. The food could use a little bit of updating – we ordered the dates which were very good, salmon dip and the flatbread which was really more of a pizza with lots of dough than a flatbread. They had a live band playing tonight outside, which was very enjoyable. They have a wonderful outdoor seating area under a tent with fun string lights, which was a lovely way to spend the evening.“

“I brought my mom here for her birthday dinner before our show at the Rialto theater. We are not from the Joliet area and I was looking for a nice place that offered pescatarian options (vegetarian that eats seafood). A few minutes after we were seated, my mom had a dizzy spell and the staff was incredibly sweet and helpful. They swiftly brought her crackers and offered to do anything they could to help. Luckily the spell passed quickly and she was able to enjoy her delicious birthday meal. We ordered the brussels and the parmesan bruschetta to start, both delicious and we are still talking about those sprouts! We both had the salmon and smashed potatoes, both cooked perfectly and the smashed potatoes were addictive. We started with cocktails and ended with the baklava cheesecake, all excellent. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, from our sweet attentive waitress to the beautiful atmosphere of the tastefully decorated historic building, the meal, drinks and dessert...all perfect! Thank you Juliet's for a wonderful meal. We will see you again!“

“Went for dinner, the location is perfect, very walkable, the building is gorgeous and the decor is tasteful. Ample beer selection and cocktail choices. Got the Mexican steak special with rice beans and pepper sauce. The steak was perfect, not too fatty, moist, perfectly grilled and seasoned. The tortillas were fresh, soft and warm.The rest of the food was disappointing, the beans and rice were cooked well but were completely flavorless. The sauce that was supposed to be made with peppers and spices was completely void of any flavor. Considering the price of the steak I’d choose something else.

The Food is pretty good. It is a small menu though. Waitresses are usually very friendly and helpful. Especially Amanda, she is my personal favorite.

I have eaten here several times over the last 3 years but it was tonight that I was impressed and decided to give a review. Don’t get me wrong the food has always been on point but if you know me a little bit from my other reviews, I don’t do them unless it’s something great. Well tonight I had the normal honor of sitting at the bar because I’m a traveler for work but tonight was different! I met a wonderful bartender named Taylor. She’s is amazing with a wonderful attitude and gifted ability to produce a common midwestern drink but different! As if you could make an Old Fashioned different and better.. well challenge accepted Taylor said, and did she deliver well heck yeah! Stop by and see Taylor (otherwise known as the girl with blue hair) psss there’s a story there too but she doesn’t have blue hair anymore..“
