“Ordered my son’s first birthday cake (& cupcakes) from here and it was amazing! He has an egg allergy and all the vegan cakes & cupcakes we tried from other places were very dense and did not taste like what we are used to cake tasting like. So once I found this shop, seeing all the positive reviews, I had high hopes and they did not disappoint! The best cake I’ve ever had and of course my son loved it. This will be our go to cake shop from here on out!“

“This place is a gem! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how kind and knowledgeable the staff was. The girl who helped me was so sweet, super patient, and explained everything perfectly. You can really tell they care about the customer experience and make sure you feel comfortable and taken care of. Now let’s talk about the lemonades—WOW. Infused and delicious, it was honestly one of the best lemonades I’ve ever had. And the baked goods? Incredible. Soft, flavorful, and just the right amount of kick. Everything I tried was amazing, and I can’t wait to go back and try more. I seriously love, love, love this place. The staff, the products, the vibe—Blazed Bakery is on point. “I discovered Chicago Sugar Daddy Patisserie through the Halloween Baking Championship (season 9), so when my husband and I were visiting Chicago this past weekend we were delighted to visit. We bought 3 sweet treats, and they were so delicious. Our favorite was an Ube cookie- mighty flavor and perfect texture. I was so starstruck when I had a chance to meet James! He was incredibly kind and genuine.“

“North Shore Bakery Rocks!! I have been going to this amazing Bakery since High School and let me tell you..... I love the bagels, challah bread, and cinnamon coffee cake. They make the best baked goods in town. I wanted to mention and recognize Ayellet for her hard work and dedication to the business and her customers. When I go into the store for my baked goods I always get a welcome with a smile. North Shore Bakery always makes me feel like I am there only customer they have! “We worked with Sweet Temptations to create our dream wedding cake and WOW is this team impressive. Looking back at our wedding photos, it is truly impossible to tell the difference between the inspiration photo sent and the cake delivered to our venue. It was GORGEOUS! In addition, the flavor was out of this world. They even sent a custom box to package our top tier for easy transportation after the reception. “Jorge and his team, especially Josh, are the most welcoming, accommodating people. They truly love what they do and strive to make your day special. They made a cake for my husband's birthday on fairly short notice that was beautiful, better than expected, and delicious! The cream and fruit filling were fresh and not too sweet but honestly the actual cake itself, even though it was just vanilla, was so light and airy. I've never had cake like this! Definitely recommend supporting this wonderful business and will be back for more!“

“DeliPan on Harlem and Schubert THIS IS THE BEST BREAD IVE EVER HAD! They got a new customer, my kids and my wife were so happy! And señora Martha was really nice and helpful. I had never tasted the Guatemalan bread and now it’s probably one of my favorite! 100/100 recommend. Also they’re taking a lot of extra precautions during all of this. I stayed in my car for a minute and they went and wiped the doors and bread cabinets, Thanks DeliPan!!“

“Cold Stone Creamery on Ohio St. is a great spot to satisfy your sweet cravings! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and customizable with tons of fun mix-ins. The staff was friendly and worked quickly even though it was busy. The store can get a bit crowded, especially on weekends, but the quality makes it worth the wait. Prices are a little high, but the portions are generous. Overall, a delicious treat and a nice experience.“
