“This is my favorite place for frozen yogurt. Over the past 10 years I've visited many locations, all of which started to decline and inevitably close (Glenview, Park Ridge, Deerfield, Mount Prospect). Schaumburg has been the most consistent location over the years. Algonquin was always pretty good too but my last visit the froyo was watery. I know there are Bloomingdale and Downers Grove locations but I haven't been to those. The location is very clean and although there are typically kids running the locations, the store is always well kept and the toppings station is always full and clean. The froyo is always great, and they always have good flavors. Their machines are typically full. And like I've mentioned always consistent. I've been turned off by other froyo shops where the froyo is priced by the ounce and the froyo comes out of the machine like frozen or watery slush and just a small amount weighs a ton, so you're paying more for less, not to mention not enjoyable froyo. The Schaumburg location the consistency of the yogurt is always spot on. It's never watery, too icy/slushy or bland. I truly believe this location takes pride in their shop. I hope they stay in business forever!“
“If I can give this bakery 10 stars I would. We ordered two birthday cakes/pastries here for my daughter's birthday. My sister in law loves ordering here for her party and that was when I tried their cakes and oh my goodness, It was one of the best cake I have ever had. Its a little pricey but Its so worth it. My whole family enjoyed it when I served the cake for my daughter's birthday. I will definitely be back. Highly recommend this bakery for quality and taste.“

“Very good Italian restaurant. The highlight for me was the prices which are extremely reasonable for a higher and Italian place. The atmosphere is real nice. The service was attentive and no complaints. I had the lasagna and chicken, Parmesan, combo plate, and our group of four ordered drinks, appetizers, meals, and dessert. Tiramisu was excellent. Meatballs for appetizer were great as well. I would highly recommend this place. The prices are probably only slightly higher than Olive Garden but this is for sure. A much better place.“

“Our son, Parker has worked at Nekter for almost a year now. He actually loves working there, and that’s all you can ask from your 18-year-old son. Loren and Brandon, the owners, really care about these kids and the same with the quality of food they make fresh every day. “The environment around the bakery is small but cozy. The workers here are so kind, and their Bundt cakes are even better. I really love their cream cheese frosting it is so tasty and addicting. That depends on the night and the server's.“
“My husband and I went there for a special anniversary celebration in September 2023 and loved it. Hadn't been there in a while and they did not disappoint. The weather was nice enough to sit on their patio - just a few sprinkles, but we had an umbrella over the table. Beautiful view of the golf course. Our server (Ally) was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had the "porterhouse" pork chop - huge and perfectly cooked! I had one of the best petite filets I've had in a long time - so tender and flavorful. Ok- on arrival, I was immediately greeted by a nice young man - but after I said "Dinner for one, please?" - he promptly disappeared with no explanation. He returned, didn't speak to me, then disappeared w/o any acknowledgement of my arrival. NOT a great way to treat a 1st time client, right? The young lady there then asked if I'd been helped - I told her I thought the young man would seat me? She disappeared; he returned, and w/o any apology he sat me down w/o comment. I somehow must have reminded him of either an estranged older brother or - god forbid- a father he was ticked off at. Not reassuring for a first impression. After a wait of about 3 minutes, a lovely lady, Cindy, came to introduce herself and take my drink order (a Peroni, natch!). Service was lovely and timely from this point on - thank goodness. A popular place, with a large menu incorporating pizza (thin and stuffed crust, of course- this is Chicagoland, after all) - I ordered an appetizer of Italian sausage medallions in a tasty tomato-based sauce - absolutely stunning flavor and one I'll look forward to in a future visit. Dinner was a small thin crust margherita pizza. While it was a very serviceable pizza with fresh ingredients, the crust- along the edges - had little flavor to it. Might be the norm, but to this West-coaster it tasted slightly bland. But all said? It was really nice and enjoyable, esp with the chili flakes added :) Will I return? I will give them another shot- absolutely. I suspect it's family owned and the young man working would - to put it mildly - would rather "not" be working. I get it. I was a teen once as well. But if it's putting food on your table and a roof over your head? A bit more care and concern to your customers is needed. Not trying to bash the young man- he just needs to realize that you only get one first impression with a new customer - BUT- Cindy - the waitperson who did the actual heavy-lifting? A pure joy, absolutely. I'll bring my hub-hub next time - but it would have been a 5 but for the aforementioned young man's lack of customer service skills.“

But I was astonished at the excellent food quality, the delightful presentation and the superior service. I ordered a lunch special, a 7" wild mushroom pizza and a salad. When the salad arrived, my jaw dropped. It was a heaping bowl of salad, with the lettuce nicely chopped up and lots of stuff added in, absolutely scrumptious. It was anything but a 'side' salad. I sampled by wife's tomato soup and found it delightful, just the right amount of spice. and now I'll have trouble in the future trying to decide between the salad or the soup. The mushroom pizza was great ! And the server, Christopher, refilled my coffee cup 3 times before I declined a fourth. I can't remember the last time any server anywhere, kept my coffee cup filled. Deer Park is a drive and now I wish there was a CPK in Crystal Lake because I'd be a regular. 10 star review from me. A Great Value.“

I got a dish that I remember eating with my Mom: Chicken Madeira.The flavor was just as good as I remembered, and the texture was better than I remembered! More tender than I remembered. But what I really wanted to order was a dessert my Mom got that I remember very much: The Ultimate Red Velvet Cheesecake.Again, just as good as I remembered! The only thing that'd make it better would be if they brought a whole cake out ?
