“This was our first time at Merrill & Houston's, and what a treat it was! The hotel and restaurant share a unique style, seamlessly incorporating ironwork elements into the design in a tasteful way — classic and stylish. We arrived early to enjoy a cocktail at the bar, and it did not disappoint. The basil-lemon martini was one of the best flavor combinations I’ve ever had. The selection of spirits rivals that of any upscale establishment. The service was top-notch. From the charming bartender to our perfect waitress, Rachel, everyone we encountered made us feel valued and well taken care of. Our "Geronimo Moment" appetizer was a delightful surprise — we’ll definitely be back for that Shrimp! As for the main course, if there was any doubt about making this steakhouse one of our regulars, it was quickly erased. The meat was perfectly cooked as ordered, well-seasoned, and the additions were excellent choices that truly enhanced the dish. The salad, soup, potatoes, and dessert were all delicious as well. I wouldn't change a thing about this dining experience. For the quality, options, and overall experience, the price was reasonable for the area. My only regret is not visiting sooner. Merrill & Houston's is a must-try for special occasions, business meetings, family dinners, or even just drinks and appetizers.“

We've lived in Beloit but never get to the Westside much but......we were looking for a sit down Pizza place so we tried Vinces.........Glad we did. Did not get pics because pizza was demolished. Pizza was ready at pick up, hot, gooey and the sasuage was the best in the area. Also got a order of poppers as well. “It's been years since we've eaten at Benedetti's, knowing it was under new ownership we wanted to give it a another try. We had some cocktails at the bar before dinner, they were delish! After having good conversation with the bartender, we decided to eat at the bar vs. going to a table. We are always looking for a good fish fry and decided on it as our entrees since Wednesdays they have fish fry. The calamari appetizer, was really good as were the entrees! Nice size portions too. We finished it off with brandy alexander to go. If it's been a while since you've dined here, I strongly suggest you give it another go! We'll be back and with our friends :)“

“Nice sports bar with plenty of TVs, tables, and booths as well as bar seating. Had a fair selection of draft beers. I enjoyed some of the old Kentucky. It is a one pound fried chicken breast with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a bun. Came with a side. All five of us in our party got our food quickly and enjoyed it.“

En el carro se fijó del recibo y vimos que había una carga extra de propina llamado "loom". La parte de abajo del recibo explica que la cuenta automáticamente carga con una propina de 15% por grupos de 4 o más, que éramos mi esposo, mis 2 hijas y yo. El problema es que no hay ni anuncio en el restaurante ni dicen al pagar. Además el sistema de tarjeta todavía hace la pregunta de propina!? Así que dejemos doble propina - $9.73 por una cuenta de $29.51. Es una trampa y me pregunto con quién se queda la carga automática ¿el dueño o la mesera? We went on 10/1/22. The food was fine as was the service. The problem is that they don't bring a bill to the table and the server just tells you the total when you pay. My husband paid and left a tip like always, but he looked closely at the receipt in the car and saw an extra charge called "loom." The very bottom of the receipt explains that loom is an automatic 15% tip for groups of 4 or more, which in this visit was my husband, my 2 daughters and I. The problem is that there's no notice in the restaurant nor do they tell you when paying. Additionally, the card system still asks if you want to add a tip?!? We ended up leaving a double tip - $9.73 on a $29.51 bill. It's a scam and I wonder who keeps the automatic "loom" charge - the owner or the waitress?“

“While I definitely enjoy Zen and think they are quite delicious, typically very timely. Today in a snow storm, my pick up order was 40 minutes delayed and the delay was at no point communicated to me. There was no place to wait and so after about 15 minutes of standing, my 30 week pregnant self just helped myself to a chair at a table. I could tell the hosts were running, but the lack of communication was very disappointing.“
