“The Fortunes in South Elgin is really a friendly place. The staff is a lot of fun. Everyone seems to know each other there. It’s very clean. It’s got good drink specials and free snacks and soda and water. I think it’s the best place in South Elgin to play, and there are quite a few all around this area.“

“My friend and I discovered this gaming cafe located in the corner of an almost empty parking lot. Since the start of the pandemic, we've been gaming here and we haven't done that bad. Not big wins, but not to many losses either. We both agree that Kolinkos manager (lady who tends the bar for majority of time, always has a smile) is such a friendly person and she does her best.customer services is good and our experience has been that our experience has been a positive one and I hope more people start to give this place a try. You'll find a very nice lady who tends majority of the time. Its a possibility that family will come and help her out by covering her Shift here and there. “We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

“Ruth's Chris has been our special occasion restaurant for 30 years across the country. From Vegas, Hawaii, Minnesota, south barrington, Northbrook and Chicago we have been to them all and usually love the food and ambiance. Unfortunately my wife's meal was a true disappointment last night. They tried making her steak three times and each time came out wrong or beyond well done which is not what she ordered unfortunately. After the third attempt the manager finally offered to take it off the bill and my wife simply had appetizers and sides for dinner. Not our usual Ruth's Chris experience but certainly was memorable for the wrong reasons.“
