“The Fortunes in South Elgin is really a friendly place. The staff is a lot of fun. Everyone seems to know each other there. It’s very clean. It’s got good drink specials and free snacks and soda and water. I think it’s the best place in South Elgin to play, and there are quite a few all around this area.“

“My friend and I discovered this gaming cafe located in the corner of an almost empty parking lot. Since the start of the pandemic, we've been gaming here and we haven't done that bad. Not big wins, but not to many losses either. We both agree that Kolinkos manager (lady who tends the bar for majority of time, always has a smile) is such a friendly person and she does her best.customer services is good and our experience has been that our experience has been a positive one and I hope more people start to give this place a try. You'll find a very nice lady who tends majority of the time. Its a possibility that family will come and help her out by covering her Shift here and there. So many cocktail bars offer drinks with great names but with no pizzazz when it come to the taste. “We went to Woodfire for my birthday. The food and service is excellent. Vicki was our server and she was very friendly and attentive. The food is so fresh and homemade. The pizza crust is crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. There is an assortment of types of pizza, but the cheese pizza is the best I’ve ever had. The pasta is rich and delicious. It’s cooked perfectly and the vodka sauce is amazing. The appetizers, home brewed beer, and desserts are phenomenal too. Step aside Coopers Hawk, I have a new favorite restaurant!“

“Truly amazing family owned and operated restaurant. Stopped in to get brunch and they have a nice small menu but plenty of food options for everyone. Opted to go with the Santa Fe skillet and a michelada, skillet was really good and hearty with a good portion of food. The michelada was top notch I think it has to be the best one I’ve had. They do open for dinner as well but have yet to make it, it is under new ownership and the restaurant has been remodeled and upgraded and it looks fantastic. Will be going back to try more items in their menu, would recommend it!“

The spaghetti Bolognese is meaty and Rich and Very well with the Italian Sangria. The bread for the appetizer is amazing, soup is Hardy and the environment is intimate and cozy. “Took my wife for our 25th Anniversary dinner at Ruth’s Chris. Absolutely fantastic experience. Super helpful and attentive servers, great atmosphere, and the food was absolutely spectacular. The restaurant also gave us an anniversary dessert.
