“Still the best place to get your breakfast and I’ve been to quite a few. Large portions. I always have to share an order with my sister. We almost always order their seafood skillet every time we visit. I love their pancakes and sausages with grilled jalapeño peppers.“

“A great breakfast restaurant nice, small and intimate only has about 20 to 25 tables. We did wait a while for breakfast however they were full and had a large party to take care of with very few servers. They were nice enough to comp our drinks for our patience. The food was definitely worth the wait. The decor was simple and perfect for a breakfast place. I hope to see them succeed into a larger place, with more staff, and a larger menu! “I’ve been here twice and both times I was impressed. Today I ordered the Cali Club Wrap with side salad. It was good, the wrap had a sweet flavor to it. I also recommend the breakfast book harvest bowl. The veggies were so fresh, it did not at all taste like your typical greasy omelette place. Prices are reasonable too.“

“My best friend and I met up for breakfast at Bacon and Jam. This was our first time eating here. I ordered the Opa omelet and my friend ordered the Butcher Omlete. Our waitress was amazing she welcomed us to the restaurant and gave us plenty of time to order and to eat. We didn't feel rushed at all. She was very attentive with our coffee refills. “Stopped in after an early appointment and was happy I did. The service and atmosphere were excellent. I was greeted cheerfully upon entering and immediately seated. I ordered coffee followed by a skillet that I customized a bit. It came out exactly as ordered. The seasoning was a bit lacking for my taste buds but nothing a little salt and pepper didn't address. The portions were substantial and I left happy and full with leftovers.“

In general the food options are pretty good, but - I have many friends who are vegan or vegetarian. It's hard to find a place that offers any unique options for them Having a disappointed friend always detracts from a lunch date (A soup or another cooked veggie option would be surprising and delightful!).They were also out of the poppyseed dressing that really makes the salad it's for, that was another 2 friends slightly disappointed. “Good breakfast place. Server took my order and never came back to check on me or my guest. I had to get a different server to help me. Ordered the perch. (Wasn't fully cooked) The Manager had a nice personality, the 2nd server was very nice, reordereda breakfast plate and it was good.“

It's an intimate restaurant with a small waiting area that leads out to the eating entrance that has at least 10 tables ranging from 2 to 4 seats, two restrooms, drinking station used by the employees and the cooking area. The Waitress was pleasant and experienced. The presentation of each dish was mouthwatering as you can see. The taste was very much to my liking and seasoning to a minimum as it should be. The amount of food you get for the price is definitely feasible. Yes, you get your monies worth! The Cook that day was on point and delivered! He needs his own tip jar! The way he made the hashbrowns are unique with this mashed/hashbrown taste that melts in your mouth. My omelet was loaded with spinach, I definitely took in my daily dosage of Vitamin C for that day. Freshness and not overcooked was also key. Restaurants like this are fading away in St. Louis City and we need to "Bring Back America" with this here. “I got the fiesta skillet with chicken sausage instead of chorizo with apple cinnamon pancakes and I liked the meal except for the chicken sausage that was added and it’s only because they were patties instead of links. My daughter enjoyed her Oreo pancakes and my other daughter didn’t like her breakfast quesadilla because it didn’t have that authentic taste but she says she will try something else next time.“

I actually know one the owners and was so super happy to see her after over at least 10 years. It's on 95th street east of Kedzie in Evergreen Park. There is free parking in the lot and in front. The food was good.. I didn't really care for the taste of the syrup but my date said it was good to him. I had pancakes, eggs over medium and grits. He had a strawberry waffle which was really good, grits and eggs fried hard. He said that coffee was really good and fresh, didn't have the burnt taste. He had about 6 small cups with Irish Crème Creamer. I did taste it and it was actually good.. The Irish Crème creamer was like toffee to me. Our waitress was funny and very hospitable. They had a lot of customers sitting in and taking out. Also I could tell they have regulars. They had a group in the back celebrating a birthday. It's not modern but they provided cleanliness, even in the restroom, quality food and excellent service!! ENJOY!“

“This is one of my breakfast go-tos. The food is great and so is the service. I ordered carry out. I got the Sophia’s omelette minus ham but extra sausage with American cheese. I got grits instead of hash browns and an English muffin. The omelette was huge. I believe they are 5 eggs. They weren’t skimpy with the ingredients either. They have a huge selection of breakfast and lunch options, so practically anyone can find something that they like. I will definitely be back.“
