“Easily the best pizza in town, and easily the most authentic pizza I've ever had outside of Italy. Prices are reasonable for the quality you get. The restaurant itself isn't anything special, but serves its purpose well. I love that the owner has a ton of pictures of him and his family in Italy on the walls. The Carbonara is perhaps my favourite pizza ever, never thought eggs on a pizza would be good but here we are. What a time to be alive.“

“Had the Sophia Loren pizza on the jersey style crust. It was incredible. The garlic fennel sausage is amazing. Nice thin crust (they make their own crust and use their own yeast starter), perfectly cooked. The service was great. I can't wait to eat here again!“

“this is the best mod pizza I’ve ever had. Specifically the Black guy who made my pizza seriously put so much care into my Lucy sunshine (I know this is an odd pizza but I love it) he spread the garlic and sauce soooo evenly - and you know not everybody does that!! He wrung out the artichokes so they didn’t make the pizza soggy and nobody has ever don’t that before and it made a huge difference. 10/10 will be back“

“The pizza was great & 3 over people I was with were happy with the food. I complained about the awful Iced Tea that tasted like water. Was told that Everyone says that it has no flavor. That should clue the owners they need to do something about it. Was a big inconvenience to me because I only drink water & Iced tea. They shouldn't serve it or charge nearly $4 for something that has no taste. If I can't enjoy flavorful tea with my food, sorry not coming back.“

“I ordered a take and bake pizza. It was ready when I went to pick it up and the employee that checked me out was very friendly. The amount of toppings on the pizza was great. “The pizza here is amazing! We loved the dill pickle, the hot honey chicken, and our favorite was the Carne asada. Their side salad had tortilla strips (which I loved). The buffalo sauce is some of the best I've had. We had friendly service both times and can't wait to go back again!“

Be aware that the portions are very large so ordering a small still gets you a lot. Ordering a large gets you two days worth of leftovers.“

“When I entered the restaurant I was greeted and seated by a very friendly employee. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I ordered an Italian beef sub sandwich with au jus and it was truly awesome. The seasoning was great and the hoagie roll it was on didn't fall part when I poured the au jus on it. I had to eat part of the Italian beef off of the sandwich before I could even get my mouth around the sandwich. It had lots of meat on it. I apologize for the picture I took of it. I had already eaten over half of it before I took the picture. It smelled so good I just had to hurry up and try it. The price was very reasonable. “this review is going to the GM Ryan at the south Dirksen store, i ordered two large pizzas tonight and i finally called about them being 35 mins late from said delivery time. He was very patient and courteous and explained to me that they was having a little trouble with the Grubhub deliveries. He went above and beyond explaining the situation. when we called the first time about it being late we were told the pizza was already in the car . A full 20 mins after that call we got a call from the grubhub driver asking if we could send them a satellite picture of our house because they could not find it. our house is only 5 mins from the Dirksen store. the grubhub driver should not have waited a full half hour to call about not being able to find us. it is in no way Ryan or the employees at godfathers fault that this happened. i want to thank Godfathers for hiring such a professional as Ruan to lead their store. it is because of Ryan that my family and I will continue to call and order the most awesome pizza in Springfield. please make sure this review gets to the owner Mike and the other owner as i will be checkimg in with Ryan to make sure he got this review of his great patience and service. we can not wait to order from ur store again as the food is awesome and Ryan's service was again above and beyond. thanks for the awesome food that you serve and the people you choose to lead ur team. we will make sure to keep recommending Godfathers to our family and friends as the number 1 pizza place to order from in Springfield. thank you sincerely the sanges family.“

“This is a family friendly, old-school Italian restaurant, close to the convention center and the two hotels. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good. I would definitely recommend this place for someone staying or attending the convention center.“

The only thing I would let the restaurant know is they had a woman panhandling out in the parking lot last night. There were 4 of us so we didn’t pay much attention to her but she followed another older couple to their car She is probably harmless but if you were by yourself it might be a little scary“

“The pizza is really good, better than it was long ago. It's a loud but fun place for kids. If your child doesn't like loud or has sensory issues, they do offer time on Sunday mornings before they open to the general public that is sensory friendly. They adjust the lights and noise. Ever since they made marijuana legal, that could be an issue. Once we were there just for fun with our child. There was a birthday party going on and lots of children inside. A group of teens or young adults walked through and back to the restroom. The smell of marijuana wafted through the air. That was disturbing, but I can't fault the restaurant for people who don't think of others. They came out and sprayed air freshener (heavily) to rid of the smell. I mention this only to say that things have changed with that law being approved, but the location handled it too. So, that's a plus for them!Parking: I've never had a bad experience with parking.Kid-friendliness: Lots of birthday parties are held here. It's a place that most kids will love! Lots of games to play!!! Adults can join in the fun!“

“I’ve been to Top Cats several times and have always had a great experience! The food is great and reasonably priced. A true gem, especially in this economy. Blake is also always so helpful. He really comes to the bar hoping to make it a home away from home for everyone who visits which is what you want your local bar and grill to be. We had a bachelorette party in the party space a couple months back and he was so amazing in ensuring it was a memorable time. I wouldn’t hesitate having another event there. My server tonight, Bethany, was just a delight as well. Despite the fact there was a wait, she remained calm, cool, and collected and we never lacked for anything desired even though she was juggling a 30 person party as well. Even though I live in STL (which means I’m exposed to great service and quality food often) I will always make it a point to stop in for either a drink or a satisfying meal.“

“Ordered a supreme pizza and a salad to go without knowing anything other than the yelp reviews and online menu. Turns out the pizza is 8 huge slices and the salad is enough as a side for 4-6 people! I wish I had known the supreme would be as meaty and spicy as it was. Very thin chewy crust, lots of meat. Very flavorful. While not my personal favorite I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves, say, a big juicy Italian sub or spicy meaty lasagna. The place was very busy but my food was prepared carefully and was ready at the promised time. I did have to stand in line to pick it up-I recommend arriving before the time they say to account for that. Salad was fresh and huge, yet nothing special overall. People in the place were drinking, talking and laughing; having a great time. It seemed to be more about the drinks than the food. I had to park a half block away or so but didn't have to pay to park.“
