“Came from Chicago to Starved Rock and tried Sam’s Pizza. We paid 1,500$(discounted from 9,532$) for the most rich and flavorful Cheese Pizza I’ve ever had. Please if you come here respect this man’s craft. He is just one man and he makes the dough and sauce himself. Sam’s a bit hard to understand but he’s hilarious and friendly. Treat Sam as if you were in his home, and enjoy a delicious pizza.“

“Cannot recommend this place enough. My family and I were traveling from St. Louis back to Milwaukee and wanted some pizza and a place for the kids to move around. This place hit all the marks and really went above and beyond. To start, it was a shift change just after we ordered from the bar. The transition was seamless and both bartenders were attentive to our needs. My husband and I got to hang at the bar while are kids played pop a shot and other games. We ordered 3 different pizzas and the meatballs. All of them were amazing in their own right and my husband loved the meatballs. My family especially enjoyed the Bianca. Unfortunately, there was a slight issue with that pizza, we brought it to the bartenders attention and within minutes the manager was over to apologize and make it right. He offered us another pizza to go, and we took him up on that knowing we still had a couple more hours on the road. They also removed the original pizza from the bill. Here’s where they really went above and beyond—we mistakenly left our credit card there, my husband paid but didn’t know that I gave my card to the bartender to hold. We didn’t realize we left the card until 45 mins into our trip. I was able to contact the restaurant and again within minutes the owner called me back. He took my information, gave me his cell number and ensured he would drop it in the mail come Monday. Not only was the food amazing, the staff attentive and the atmosphere perfect for our kids, it’s clear that these are a great group of people. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!“

“I ordered the smoked ribeye pizza and garlic nuggets for my first order from Lil Bella’s and I was so excited to get home and try it! Smelled so amazing and tasted just as good! “Drove through the town on the way to STL. The pizza was fresh and ready to go. Guy behind the counter was very polite and quick. Pizza was in between a New York and a deep dish level of thickness. The toppings were thick and crispy. Some of the best pizza I’ve had. No bathroom that I saw so that was unfortunate but I’m sure if I asked they’d let me in the back bathroom lol. Really wish we had one of these in stl because I would DEFINITELY be coming back for some hot za on a weekly basis. “Waitress was friendly and helpful. Service was a bit disjointed. The other couple ordered sandwiches and had to wait 5 plus minutes to get their food after we got ours. The pizza was good but the chucks parm sandwich got big ratings from our dining companions as they split sandwiches. The half and half was also good.“

“Usually use the drive up window after I've ordered on the app. Staff is always friendly and pizza is good. During a previous visit, they goofed on our half and half pizza (doing one half choices on whole pizza) so then made another pizza with other half choices. Appreciate the honestly and quick thinking to make us happy. We didn't go inside so gave no atmosphere points. We enjoy Pizza Hut but only gave 4 stars because it is a pleasant good not a great. But that's okay
