Tried Kane's for the first time. This is my new favorite chicken place, for sure. Tender, light, crispy chicken. Good sauce. Fries were perfect. Lemonade was a bit tart, but I like tart lemonade. Texas toast had the slightly hint of garlic, which was perfect. The drive through experience reminds me of another popular fried chicken chain. Very pleasant. I will definitely be back.
Raising Cane's in Springfield was amazing as it always is. I drive almost two hours away just to get it from this location as it's the closest one to me. The food is always fresh and hot. The lemonade is tasty. The fries and coleslaw are ok.
When a local Raising Cane's is participating in a fundraiser for a local entity (thank you), they need to make sure all point of sale employees (specifically drive thru) and shift managers are aware of the fundraiser and how to process the payments so the local entity receives funds correctly. And the point of sale employee should not get snippy with the customer when they show them the FB post and try to explain what is going on. Nor should the shift manager tell the customer...
