“Been a few years since I have been back to Weegee's and after taking one step it felt like old times. Vibe and atmosphere were awesome and couldn't have been better. Had a bartender named Jim kid was phenomenal, newer kid so I got a variety of drinks and he killed it. Will 100% be coming back soon no way am I going years between visits. “I attended a party in the party room. There was a cash bar in the room and the attendants were really nice. The room was a very nice size. They allow you to decorate. There are about 10 round tables and chairs provided as well. In addition, you can also bring your own food. Even with the table and chairs, there was space for the dessert table, DJ booth as well as a balloon arch with backdrop for photos. Oh, one final thing, the room has its own entrance from the parking lot and two bathrooms for your party guests.“

“Had a great dinner here before a hockey game. The staff were wonderful and super on top of everything. You can tell they prioritize getting people in and out in time to see the games.

Mg group had the complementary cheese bread (very tasty) the Caesar salad (my husband’s was underdressed and just ok, but my other friend said hers was good), lobster bisque (phenomenal), prime rib (my group said it was delicious), seared tuna salad (very good after I requested more dressing),clam bucatini (very tasty), fries (very good), and the passion colada cocktail was excellent (we even got some to go for the game!).

I would definitely recommend before a game. It is a bit pricey though, but the food is delicious.“

Unfortunately, the bar tender was rude, very unprofessional, he made the experience with us very lack luster. Brett, one of the bartenders, got me out of a depressive episode when I was thinking about an ex. I cannot recommend this place enough. I’d give it 6 starts but black rock restricted me to 5.“

“Chuck's has quite a few Cajun inspired dishes on the menu. My friend enjoyed her chicken fried steak, I think it was. It looked very good. The cheese curds were delicious! My baked potato was good and I also enjoyed my coleslaw. I think Chuck's has good food. I've been there more than a few times.“

I fell in love with their Cookie Dough Cinnamon Roll my first time coming here. Unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu as they’ve made some recipe changes but the Killer Skillet and the McDowell Burger was absolutely outstanding! Whoever reads this review and is deciding on whether they should come here or not…do yourself a favor and just come. You won’t be disappointed!“

The bartender was very nice and you could tell she had some regulars that she enjoyed talking with. They also have free pool if you’re into that. Overall, it was a solid time.“

“My partner and I recently visited Chicago and The Office was one of the highlights for us.
Ryan was our server and was super personable, and chatted with us all through the evening.
The drinks were great, and the bartender listened to my picky demands for a drink and came through with an amazing drink 🤣
Highly recommend the Basque Cheesecake and the Manhattan.
Ask Ryan for Chicago recommendations, you won’t regret it!

(Our one issue was the 20% “gratuity” but not gratuity on the receipt. Management really should change this up. We ended up paying 45% in gratuity because we wanted to make sure Ryan got the tip he deserved plus the mandatory 20%. The way it’s worded on the receipt feels deceptive and probably leaves waiters without a tip often. Make the drinks $5 more, happy to pay that vs this fee).“

“From what I understand this is a very beloved concert venue in Chicago, so when the hometown dudes in Belmont announced a headline show here I knew I had to make the trip from Minnesota. Coming from Minnesota we have the iconic First Ave so this was similar to that although likely a slightly smaller capacity limit. Staff were awesome from our entry to the venue to the bar staff, my only little complaint is maybe a bar on the other side of the venue but that's not a deal breaker whatsoever. Sound quality and sight of stage quality were exceptionally great. Plenty of room in bathrooms and the merch area worked pretty well. Would love to see a show here again in the future.“

“We’ve always had a blast there. murray is the best. However the new sat night Karaoke host is absolutely wretched. She was rude, snotty and acted like everyone was annoying her. We were afraid to request songs. Big bummer because that has always been our go to spot. Missing Clyde for sure!!!“

“walked by randomly on a Wednesday and went to the bar where I heard some music. the band was excellent, a really unique style, but brilliant. but the best part was meeting Thomas, the bar manager. as soon as I walked in he greeted me warmly and upon hearing it's my first time in Chicago, a shot was poured and I got the lowdown on local beers. I had a good chat with Thomas and could see how he was well liked by everyone there. would love to go back“

“Just had lunch with my neighbor Jorge and as usual was NOT disappointed! Chris was her usual friendly self. She’s always on the ball about pleasing people and sending them home happy and full. Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! I’d be there more often but I have no self control. 🤣“

“Went it for a loaded Bloody Mary. It was great. The people seemed really friendly (employees and customers)
The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. I would love to see this place get an over haul because it was great potential with the nice staff and great customers. Very very very welcoming!!“
