“OH MY GOODNESS!!! stopped in on a whim because chicago traffic had my anxiety high, expected it to be packed because of parking and traffic but it was so calm and relaxing inside!! The staff was very welcoming and helpful with the menu. The limon margarita definitely helped me relax and the amazing Birria tacos had me dancing in my chair!! Also snagged some Al Pastor tacos for their Wednesday menu deal! It was an amazing lunch that barely dented the wallet, will absolutely be back here (despite my traffic anxieties)“

“We had a marvelous dinner celebrating a birthday and everything from scheduling a reservation to dessert was impeccable. The seafood on the seafood tower was fresh and succulent, the warm goat cheese salad had excellent flavor and texture and the parmesan Sole and the Norwegian salmon were both made to perfection. A must have is the Crab fried rice. The bananas foster butter cake and Meyer lemon tort were both excellent too. Our server Joy really made our first experience truly special.“

“We had a great dining experience. The food was delicious—we ordered the crab and the filet mignon, and both were perfectly prepared. The cocktails were excellent, and the dessert was absolutely delicious, making for a perfect ending to the meal. To be completely honest, the oysters were the only disappointment. We tried both the East Coast and West Coast oysters, but neither was to our taste. We also didn't really enjoy the sauces that came with them. Overall, we really enjoyed our experience and would definitely come back for the outstanding food, great cocktails, and amazing desserts.“

“I went in there last week to buy jumbo shrimp $24.95 per LB. Is there new owners in this place. When I got home there was small shrimp with a couple of Jumbo...I should of took a picture. They use to put the fried shrimp in a wax lined brown bag...now they have a with paper container when I got home all was cold. Not wasting my time..“

“I ate dinner at Donny G's several hours ago and am still thinking about my memorable fine-dining experience. I ordered the cream of broccoli soup, shrimp de jonghe, and chicken marsala. All three were really delicious. The sauces on the shrimp and chicken were outstanding. Hector was my waiter, and I appreciate his excellent service. They were moist, juicy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Very fresh and well sized. Didnt too much care for the chicken wing zings. They were too salty although fresh and crispy. Also had the seafood salad which was good. Been back again for the frog legs. FYI it is CASH ONLY. Great customer service which was a plus for me. So I didn't mind coming back considering I live no where near the restaurant.“
