“Absolutely fantastic! I ordered the Kaiseki Bento with Salmon, and it was a feast! The grilled salmon was perfectly cooked—crispy skin with tender, flaky meat. The bento came with miso soup, fresh salad, delicious gyoza, tempura that was light and crispy, and a few California rolls that rounded out the meal beautifully. Great presentation and flavor. Sushi EN has definitely become my new go-to for Japanese lunch and dinner specials!“

“I have been coming to Moonsun 15+ years, watching it change ownership a few different times. The current owners are absolutely the best. They're so sweet, attentive to their customers, they hire great servers, and the QUALITY of the food is amazing every single time. We almost exclusively order sushi, though we have tried other things such as their fried rice, Pad Thai, and chicken dishes. While I don't love those dishes AS much, the sushi is 100% the best quality and taste. I used to live in the city and tried some very high end sushi spots and Moonsun would compete with them or, even, surpass them! I cannot express how fresh and high quality everything is, the rice to maki ratio is perfect, and the sushi rice itself is perfect. It's light, never clumpy, just the right flavor.

Some of my favorite rolls: Lemon Salmon, Lobster Mango, Brandy's, Jenny's, Chicago Fire, the Super Scallop, the Futo. It really doesn't matter, to be honest, they're all delicious.

I highly recommend Moonsun -- it's the best sushi in the area, hands down.“

“This place is legit Korean style. It has its own spin to the dishes but all the bowls and burritos are the perfect balance is meat, vegetables and rice. We always get the burritos and bowls. “Ordered carry-out from the Vernon Hills location and loved it! Fantastic quality ramen, flavorful broth and still hot after getting it home. Miso Ramen and Taiwan Ramen are fantastic, but beware that single pepper icon, because it’s no joke! (And I say this as someone who grew up eating spicy food 🙂) Delicious, but intense! I would LOVE to see a milder version of the Taiwan Ramen (or at least a way to adjust the heat, like the Spicy Miso), because the flavor was truly amazing and addictive.“

“Went for a birthday dinner for my daughter. Kids have been asking for a Asian buffet. I'm pretty picky where I eat, I will be coming back! Service was great, food was popping hot at the buffet, good indicator food will be served at temp. Lots of choices, affordable for a family of 6. Crab legs were available and quite a bit of them. My only compliment is the crab legs where over cooked. I know this is hard at a buffet but it can be achieved. Loved the sushi but please more options there too! Sweet crab leg, salmon, sweet shrimp, torch cooked shrimp, crab meat, and scallops sushi must try. Savory Unagi sushi, steak sushi, and generous spider crab roll were on point. You may order additional on their menu if you don’t see what you want. We got a secret prize.“
