“Stopped in on a whim after seeing a pop-up on FB about this amazing five star Tavern. We were pleasantly surprised when we were welcomed as we walked through the door. The atmosphere was inviting and the service top notch! The food was above and beyond what we expected. We had the fish specials, both were deliciously out of this world! The portions were perfect, plenty of leftovers to take home! Our Complements to the chef!!! We will definitely be back!“

“I am in absolute amazement. I had one of the most amazing dining experience at Ignotz. Our dinner plans changed last minute and we searched for an alternative. We knew it was going to be somewhat difficult to find an option in the city on a Saturday night. Well! Let me just say I called Ignotz and they accommodated us last minute. We were celebrating my mom’s birthday and oh boy! They make you feel like you are an old friend who they have know for years. All the staff and diners sing along and make it a celebration! “I love this place and I love Giant. The crust is great, good texture and flavorful, and the cheese they use is top notch. Pepperonis were also high quality, if there’s a problem it lies with the sauce. There's hardly any, not even close to enough on either their tavern or NY style. Order the NY style with extra sauce. The tavern is so thin that there’s barely any room for sauce, if you care. Still solid tavern.“

“These guys have been on my list for a while and it was worth the wait. THIS IS PIZZA. Bridgeport phils still has my heart but this place just bumped into the 2/3 spot for me. TOP 3 Chicago pizzeria.

Crust: this is what did it for me. The crust was a perfect thickness and kept its structure/ crisp throughout the whole pizza

Sauce: they’re cooking down their own sauce I believe. It’s got a touch of that fresh tomato sweetness. Nothing over powering, just a great classic sauce

Sausage/cheese: high quality Battaglia products. Traditional cheese blend and good sausage. Nothing crazy in this category but definitely brings their pizza together

“I will never forget about this pizza that I ordered from here in 2015. I asked for onions and a lot of them. Then I said no really, like a lot a lot of onions. Like if you put a bunch on the pizza and it makes you uncomfortable, double the amount of onions.

“My first time in was yesterday and the cashier, maybe he’s the owner? I’m not sure but was so nice! He answered the questions I had, he was very patient, and even recommended me his choice of things. It's refreshing to see people who actually care about their job these days and customer service. On top of all of that great impression, the pizza was SO good I got a slice of cheese, and their Hala sausage and I was surprised of how good it was???. “An outstanding experience at Parlor this evening! This was the first truly gorgeous day in Chicago so Parlor was very busy (as expected). We were seated for our reservation right away and our waiter made sure to get our order in for happy hour as soon as possible. Although service was a little slower due to the volume of customers, our waiter was very kind and apologetic, checking on us constantly and bringing us free drinks. “After trying Hortiport for a couple of weeks I can say that, compared to the other grocery delivery services, Hortiport eliminates the untrained ‘middle man’. This guarantees your box of goodness will be the freshest and most eye-pleasing, as if you hand selected them yourself! I also appreciated the well curated selection of foodie items from local vendors. (One of whom, coincidentally, is based just 2 blocks from my home!) Helping local farmers and small producers is a ‘feel good’ for me and don’t we all need more of that these days?!“
