“We rode our bikes uptown Sycamore and wanted a healthy bite for lunch. We were super happy when we stopped by The Village Restaurant and met the owner, Jean, a sincere and kind person! The chicken and pork skewers were delicious and cooked perfectly. Another "surprise and delight" for us was the homemade tzatziki sauce—oh my!!! Jean recommended her homemade Greek avgolemono soup... this lemon chicken cream soup gets an A+! Water infused with lemon and cucumber was a nice touch. I highly recommend The Village Restaurant. We will be back soon, as this 5-star establishment is extremely memorable!”

“very displeased with the way my situation was handled. I ordered a Denver omelette and something in it was spoiled made me violently ill. I sent the Omelette back in turn they I wanted something else, so I ordered a half order of biscuits and gravy. when we paid for our meal you would think that they would comp The Omelette meal for me being sick and it being spoiled they did not inreturn they charged everything a la carte the pancakes and the hash browns down to the onions. the only thing they took off was the omelette. and then still charged me for the biscuits and gravy also. very very poor service you sell somebody something spoiled. end up sick from the spoiled food and not only did I have to pay monetarily I also paid physically for it. two breakfast meals two coffees one soda one of which we cannot eat $45. we will not be back. however I will say the waitress we had was amazing and it was not her fault. she was the best part of our service there.”

“Sam's Pizza is without a doubt the best tavern-style pizza in all of DeKalb County, and arguably all of the Chicagoland area! I have been purchasing pizza from Sam's for both myself, my family, and my crew at work for ten years and have NEVER had a bad slice!

No need to go into the city for some mediocre pizza when the best is just five minutes away! Each time I order I know the wait is going to be a bit long, but I appreciate it because I know that at Sam's they're taking the time needed to create a pizza that is TOP NOTCH every single time!

Go to Sam's and get yourself a tavern-style or stuffed pizza today! And don't sleep on their tiramisu either! Delicious! Keep up the great work, guys!”

“Probably the best boneless wings I’ve ever had. The chicken was so juicy and breading so crispy and delicious! The sauces were so unique and beyond delicious! The steak tacos were also one of the best I’ve ever had and we had tried MANY different places. I would go back 110% Service was also excellent! Super yummy extra dirty martini! Over all would give it a 10 out of 10!”

“We had dinner at Nat's last night. I haven't eaten there in years, but it was exactly as good as I remember. It was so nice to eat at a restaurant where everything on the menu is better than anything I can cook myself. No question, their kitchen staff are professionals. The price point is barely more you'd pay for corporate casual, at a time when fast food can cost you $20 a person, most of their entrees are in the $28 range. I don't want to throw shade at anyone else's restaurant in particular, but I haven't enjoyed a dining experience like that in years and I've been to almost every more upscale restaurant in this area. If you are in the industry you need to go and, and take notes. The service was impeccable, and they made no effort to rush us out the door to turn over the table. It was so nice to feel like a civilized human being.”

“For my son’s second birthday party, I asked if they could make a construction-themed cake with an excavator (my son really likes Blippi ). I ordered a white cake with white buttercream frosting and strawberry filling. The cake turned out beautiful! My son loved it. Everybody thought it was great and delicious. I will order from her again in the future. I wish I could share pictures.”

“I haven't had a rosati's pizza and quite some time the sauce was fantastic, was delivered with a smile and hot. The only thing I was unhappy about was they don't have the points on the box like they used to I looked all over because I still have some like four of them if you save 12 of them you got a pizza they must not be doing that anymore 😔 50 years of a good thing I don't know whose idea that was but I'm going to pinch them 😅 thank you God bless~”

“When I get the Greek salad with no olives and extra Feta for six days in a row and the manager takes notice when I am there sometimes more than once a day, because my husband was in the hospital and I needed to eat too! The manager showed me that there are still good people in this country that care about others, I will never forget what you did and will forever be grateful!
