“Frankie's since 1988 is hands-down, the best restaurant in the southwest Chicago suburbs. My son and I went for my birthday and there was no place I would rather go. The decor is trendy yet elegant and I really enjoyed the music that was playing. Service was quick and friendly. The signature Frankie's old-fashioned was amazing! Although the lasagna is my absolute favorite, I like to try the chef specials whenever possible, especially the seasonal ones. We had the pumpkin lasagna and the butternut squash risotto with crumbled Italian sausage.... Both were amazing! Whether it's your 20th time back or your first time here, the staff and the owner will make you feel like Family. This is truly a gem in the south suburbs. If you're reading this review to see if you want to go to Frankie‘s, don't hesitate... Just make the reservation...You won't be disappointed.”

“Great staff and really good food. What really stuck with me, though, was the owner’s generosity — he donated to a benefit we held for my friend last year, and I wasn’t even a regular at the time. We were celebrating a 70th birthday and we were treated to several amazing desserts. The service was above and beyond our expectations. We booked our Christmas party here in December.”

“We've been many times and always have a positive experience. The space is simply amazing and I've always thought a restaurant of some kind should go here and they definitely did the space justice.
Food has always been great, the pimento cheese is delicious, and the beer is equally good, they make a great Marzen - one of my favorites anywhere. Highly recommend!”

“I haven't eaten here since the relocation from Calunet City. I went last night and the food tasted just the same. It was flavorful and melted in my mouth. “To be completely honest, I thought this was a little coffee shop based on how it looked. I was working in the area and stopped by since I normally avoid big chain coffee shops like Starbucks. Little did I know, it ended up being a little gaming place haha.Nevertheless, the employee was extremely accommodating and served me coffee on the house. I felt bad for not playing, so I insisted that I'd pay for a small pizza at least. I was the only one in the morning until 3 people came in to play around 9am. Thankfully none of the slots were loud enough to be distracting and the music/lounge area was more than sufficient to sit down and get some work done. Interesting concept but everything is pretty affordable including beer so I may come back again. Only downside was that a lot of the food menu items were not available.”

“I moved to the neighborhood a few months ago and their pizza is great. It’s even better that they’re only 15 mins away. So far I’ve had the thin crust and chicken wings. I need to venture out and get the pan - stuffed pizza. I believe on Monday’s you can get 2 pizzas for the price of one. I just wish we could change up the toppings on the second pizza.”

“I ordered the avocado chicken curry with rice! It was absolutely delicious. Very flavourful. Just perfect. My friend got the avocado mac and cheese. I tasted it and loved that too. The portions are large and we brought some home. We got the avocado cheesecake cup for desert and wow! Yummy yummy yummy. They have a kids menu too! I will be a regular customer in the future. You have to try this place!”

“We absolutely love this place and the owners! They are so accommodating and helpful to make sure you get exactly what you want! We always get the chicken Tikka Masala, Chole Gravy (comes with fried Indian bread that's to die for), and the Aloo Paratha. So yummy! The Samosas are the best I've ever had but are a bit too spicy for my taste. We tend to order them anyway and power through the spice because they're so dang good! Lol. 10 out of 10!”

“I have been trying to find a good gyro place since Alexander's on southwest highway closed. Most of the places sell something that looks like it came from Sam's Club family pack gyros kit. Mickey's is one of the best places I have come across in my travels throughout the U.S.”

“This isn’t the fanciest place in the world. But you know what? Many of the best Asian restaurants aren’t. This place is a spinoff from a larger Asian chain. Unlike many other restaurants of this nature, there are a large number of excellent Korean dishes. And unlike most, there is consistent good quality in several different types of Asian cuisine. Often you’ll find an Asian restaurant that has very good Japanese or Chinese food but lousy Thai food. Here everything is consistently good.

But with that this place apart is the Boba. This is probably the best Boba we’ve had in the Midwest. And despite my name, we are an Asian family! We know our Boba. And this is our first choice outside hopping on a plane and flying for 15 hours.”

“My favorite place to get Chinese food! I’ve tried soooo many different places and keep coming back to this location whenever I visit my dad’s place in the burbs. I live in the city now and have tried many places there as well, but wish there was a Chen’s like this near my place. The food here is fresh, high quality, filled with flavor, good texture and never fails to make me full with the portions they give. I still have leftovers for the next few days!”

“If you want a GREAT burger Happy Bites is the place to go. They have a variety of flavors and options for a truly unique burger. Always cooked to perfection and full of flavor. You don't need to go to BWW for great wings. They have bone-in and boneless options, and amazing sauces. Their delivery service is great. Food arrives hot and fresh and fast!”

“This Korean fried chicken is AMAZING! We ordered drumsticks in 2 different flavors, soy garlic and Korean bbq. Bao buns with fried chicken were spectacular! The kids LOVED the plain drumsticks, boneless wings, fries, rice, and Korean donuts! We were all really impressed. The price is a little high, but the quality and freshness of the meal shows! Care was put into making and packing the food. Can't wait to return to try some of the other yummy things on their menu! I really hope they do well in Tinley. We definitely need some good fried chicken places!”

She was the tender/server which she handled great. Food was good services was good, but when we come back and if old broad is working, nope, we're leaving.”

“I've had Blaze Pizza in different cities and states. My experience has been pretty much consistent. Inattentive staff, long waits, crowded shop. HOWEVER, this location has been completely different! The staff actually acknowledges your presence when you walk in the door. They make sure to let you know that someone will be with you. They don't leave you standing around. The times I've been there, there was a noticeable attention to keeping the team on task and making sure customers weren't standing around waiting longer than need be. I really hope they keep up the great work, this is the best location I've ever visited.”

“Bamboo garden is a hidden gem inside of a first I almost passed it by well, I'm glad I didn't. This place has been a local gem ever since Number One Chop Suey in Oak Forest closed this is. My new go-to for Chinese food. I had the chicken walnut dinner spicy and my friend had beef. Broccoli, both dishes were very good. The restaurant itself was clean. However, they did seem a bit unexpectedly short-staffed for our visit. I would go back. I would recommend it to local friends.”

“We went there on Friday night . We wanted to try something different so I got the Friday Fish Fry with mashed potatoes and corn. My husband got the chicken and dumplings with mashed potatoes and the green beans. He loved his meal. My fish was good and the tartar sauce was delicious! My corn was not very warm but I ate them. The mashed potatoes were hard and cold. I told the waitress and she brought out a new one. We tried the sugar plum tea , it was very good! The service was good and we had a very nice experience. The last time we were there it was a disaster! But we decided to give them another try. Glad we did, it’s like they have new people working there and things were much better.
