Portillo's Hot Dogs Reviews
I WENT LAST WEEKEND AND I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE ITALIAN BEEF SANDWICH MEAL 😠😠😠 THE SANDWICH WAS SMALL ENOUGH LIKE A KIDS MEAL.
I OF COURSE ENJOYED THE CHOCOLATE CAKE.
GOT TO DO BETTER PORTILLOS.
Terrible service, beef sandwich flavor and portion was very small. Restaurant needed a good cleaning. We felt like we were in the middle Chaos! Not exactly an atmosphere I want to pay for. Also wanted 1 diet and 1 regular soda. We got 2 regular sodas.
Worse drive thru in America.. I was actually 12 cars deep when they gave me my food, with no way to exit. I asked the kid if I was supposed to eat this while I sat there so that I could enjoy it while it was still warm.

Portillo's Tinley Park generally receives positive reviews for its food, with customers praising the quality as "always good". The restaurant is known for its hot dogs and Italian beef, providing a nostalgic experience for many. However, customers have noted issues with order accuracy in the drive-thru, where missing items have been reported, and cash payments are not accepted. The inside service is said to be better, but it is recommended to always check orders for completeness. Some customers have experienced confusion regarding the gravy serving style, expecting it to be served on the side. For example, one customer ordered the big Italian beef combo with extra gravy, but found that the gravy was only added inside the sandwich, making it drier than expected. Additionally, the chicken tenders were described as similar to air-fried options, which were not as satisfying. Despite some challenges, many still enjoy the food, such as the chopped salad, which offers enough for leftovers. However, there have been concerns about accessibility, as one customer faced difficulties with the locked handicap entrance. Overall, Portillo's remains a cherished dining spot for those who seek quality food and a trip down memory lane.
