“First time for me at Buford's Pub, my family had each been there before. My mom and I were greeted by a very friendly waitress and the bar dog. The bar was full, but she would get us a table as soon as she could. So we waited at the bar. We were still waiting for two others and not in a hurry. While waiting, we saw wonderful looking cheeseburgers going out to tables. It is a great bar with several tables and very friendly people. I and my mom ordered the breaded pork tenderloin- it was not only gigantic but delicious! My SIL ordered the half order of chicken nachos- it was huge! We were all surprised about the nachos. My brother ordered the Philly cheesesteak and it looked delicious. We sat and ate our lunch and had a great time!I will be back to try the cheeseburgers!“
“The steak I had was so good when I was in town that I had it 3 nights in a row. I will definitely be there the next time I am in the area. I sat at the bar and had great service all 3 nights! The ambiance was a typical bar noise not too loud.“
“I really enjoyed this restaurant. They have enough unique dishes on their menu to be just enough different than every other Hispanic Mexican restaurant that is in the area. The food was delicious. The salsa was very flavorful. The cheese sauce has flavor as well. We went as a family and you'll pay what you expect for a sir down restaurant. Every dish was great and the atmosphere was very fun. I would say my only complaint is that the seats are very close together and it was harder to get out to use the restroom. Also the higher chairs are not very comfortable.“
“I was told they can literally make any dish gluten free--just let them know and they'll use a different sauce. They were knowledgeable about what does and doesn't contain wheat and interceded when I was about to order the wide flat noodles with no clue they're made of wheat! Truth be told, I haven't even got my order yet, but that service alone warrants a 5 star from me! Excellent!! I'll be back next time I'm in Chambana!“
“Best fast food in Champaign/Urbana. You can tell the owner/operator is there. You get nothing but smiles, quick service and no attitude. Laugh at the people in the portillos line across the street as it crawls at a snails pace while Chick Fil A whirlwinds the cars through. I've waited in portillos line for 40min+ with 3 cars ahead of me. They are AWFUL! Go here instead, you'll thank me later.“
“I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight and it exceeded my expectations! The variety of ingredients and quality of the food was exceptional. I had a build your own bowl with spring mix, quinoa, roasted sweet potatoes, roasted broccoli, chickpea salad, roasted tofu, hummus, croutons, sourdough bread, and avocado green goddess dressing. I am so excited to have a new restaurant to go to that can accommodate my dietary restrictions (no meat, little dairy, limited FODMAP foods).Vegetarian options: They had tofu as a protein option and TONS of vegetable and grain options.“
“My family eats at Naf Naf all the time. We LOVE the food! It is fresh and delicious, always hits the spot. Enough for two meals for some of us. The next day we fight for the leftovers. The people who work there are always kind and welcoming, and the restaurant is bright and modern, although we usually get takeout. The falafel is really good, so the vegans in the family are especially happy, but honestly, the rest of the carnivores are happy too-- either with the falafel or the steak or chicken choices. The hummus and babaganoush are yummy and the pita bread is made fresh.“
“Best thin pizza in town. Great service. The French dressing is amazing.Vegetarian options: Go no cheese with veggies for vegan.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free crust. All dressings and toppings gluten free.Parking: If monical's lot is full park by Schnucks.“
“They are friendly and orders are always exactly what you ordered!Vegetarian options: You can order anything you want with what you want or don't want in it !Wheelchair accessibility: The entrance is made for easy access to the restaurant and parking is on the east side with easy access to the restaurant...“
“Our server was excellent. She was very attentive and took care of everything we needed, especially with one person needing a gluten-free menu. The manager stop by twice, once before to verify how they handle gluten-free items and then the second time to verify that everything came out okay. Our food came out perfect and was very tasty!Dietary restrictions: Their menu explains what is gluten-free which makes it very easy.“
“We had the best night last night celebrating our daughter's birthday at Sweet Basil. Of course there are plenty of eating places to choose from in Champaign, but our daughter had yet to try Sweet Basil, so that was where we landed..... and what a wonderful choice it was! Because of snowy weather, there weren't very many people dining when we got there, but that just gave opportunity for us to receive more attention... and did we ever! Aaron was a delightful server and went above and beyond in making sure our daughter was celebrated on her special day. After our meal, she was not only serenaded with Happy Birthday by what one might consider a professional performance, but also presented with the most DELICIOUS dessert. The rest of our meal was top-notch and very, very generous. We'll be eating leftovers for at least one and possibly two more meals. We will definitely be going back to Sweet Basil and would love to have Aaron as our server again. He definitely helped to make the night one we'll remember for a long time.“
“I love Portillos food, and this location is great. The service was a notch up from what you typically get at a Portillos. We had a nice gentleman grab napkins and plasticware for our table. He brought us our food when our number was called. He was great.“
“Cafe Sababa is absolutely a hidden gem inside the Illini Hillel! I ordered the sweet potato croquettes this noon, which is listed on their menu for the restaurant week. The croquettes were just amazing! The sour sauce and the vegetables made the food more refreshing. The amount (5 croquettes in total) was just suitable for a quick lunch. The people here were so nice, while there were not so many seats for dining inside. Anyway, it must be a 5 stars cute place on campus!“
“I come to this Panera all the time and it's always been great, today however I think they may have swapped the names on my order with someone else's food, because I opened my pick up order and it was nothing I ordered. Still ate it and it was pretty good! ????“
“Wonderful store, terrible sushi. I love Schnuck's. I am from a small town and you can't get things like kimchee or good sourdough bread at our local grocery. I also have always looked forward to their sushi. Well, I had some today and it was terrible. They must have changed suppliers. It had no flavor at all and the outside of the rolls tasted like wax and was hard to chew. Instead of wasabi and pickled ginger it now comes with sweet chili sauce which was very bland and basically tasted like a packet of corn syrup. Big waste of ten bucks. I'm calling the manager to complain. Other than that, Schnuck's is great- good store brands, beautiful produce, olive bar and the meat is superb. I shop for good deals and usually come out even or sometimes cheaper than at my local store.“
