“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. We will definitely be visiting Mio Modo again. Thank you for a delightful experience!“

“I've been going to Riganato's for many years and have never had a bad meal and I've tried quite a few of the entrees. This time I tried something new, the filet medallions (2) $29 and added 5 large shrimp $7. The medallions were VG though a little on the peppery side. I split the shrimp with my wife and they were superb. This entree is not only VG it is a bargain. The medallions are offered in 3 but unless one is a big eater it would likely be too much. The service was excellent too and quiet enough for conversation. I will be back.“

“My husband and I owned a mobile Hot Dog Stand I ran it in Northwest Indiana. I sold Bari Beef Sandwiches. I was famous for my Beef sandwiches . I have and will always swear by Bari Beef!!!! We have moved all over the country the last 9 years and just moved to Bartlett Illinois. I just found out I live only 9.8 miles from Bari factory store …… I think I have died and gone to Heaven!!! On a side note. I had a deal for all new customers who questioned whether I had the best beef sandwiches. I told them “You buy my Beef sandwich and if you do t think it’s the best you have ever had I will give you your money back!” I have NEVER had to give anyone their money back!!! “This restaurant has been here for about 19 years. I have never seen it before last night. We were looking for a new Italian place and came across Nuova Italia. I am glad we did. The quality of food and portion size are a very good value. Its about what you would pay at Biaggi's. the food is much better and more authentic tasting (imo). It does look like they have a major leak in the celling in the middle of the restaurant. It wasn't anything that made me question the food safety or anything. Its just a little distracting from the beautiful aesthetics of the historic building.“

First, the ingredients are all really good—sauce, sausage, crust, cheese. But the proportions are off. More sauce, less cheese would make this 5 stars for me (there’s a LOT of cheese).

Operationally, the woman at the front counter was very friendly. The pizza was 10 minutes later than promised (ordered as pickup through UberEats app i.e., not a delivery driver issue). And the pizza slices were not cut all the way through the crust which made for a mess.

The free tiramisu they gave was a nice touch—it was pretty good.

“Such a wonderful pizzeria. After one visit it has become our go-to. Not only do they have toppings most others do not, the price is decent and the quality is impressive! If you're looking for a good meatball sub, look no further!! And the tiramisu? Bigger than Lou's and much better priced. Completely delicious, even the next day. Fries, onion rings, everything is top-notch!
