“This nostalgic gem in Sunnyland has been around long before I was here. It’s a delicious treat, a tad expensive, but better than DQ.Note; They blend the pieces of treats in their wizards a bit too much to the point there aren’t enough bites in it. Some people may like it that way, I don’t.It’s rich and creamy, and their cheese curds are amazing. Worth the stop!“

“Stopped in to buy a couple of ladies milkshakes that have their home in a nearby nursing home. The ladies behind the counter were cheerful and bright as being helpful. Over ten bucks for two medium shakes is a bit much, but in today's environment it's not unreasonable. The gals just raved about the quality of their shakes and that makes it all worthwhile in my opinion.“
“We always search for local homemade ice cream on our hockey adventures and we stumbled upon Uncle Bob’s just in time! They are closing for the season 11/19, but make sure you stop in when they re-open!! Flavors were amazing and no gross after taste. This is legit the real deal. Not too sweet so the flavors don’t get over powered. Super friendly staff and plenty of choices! It’s a must stop even if you are just driving by!“
“I want to like them so bad, but the taste just isn't there for the price point. I love the feel of Lydia's barn, the ice cream is amazing, and the service is pleasant and fast. However, the other food items such a burgers and fries are not very flavorful or taste a bit odd IMO. I do recommend their yummy ice cream though! Especially their strawberry ice cream!“

“Every experience I've had bringing my family here has been absolutely fantastic. The staff is always friendly and professional and it's easy to see that the owner values old fashioned standards of top notch service, which is so refreshing this day and age in a restaurant that serves great food to a high volume of guests in a timely manner. Kudos to the best-operating Dairy Queen in Central Illinois.“
“Hands down the best double bacon. Cheeseburger in the entire world. I don't care. Gordon Ramsay has nothing on this place... A fat nothing! If you're in the area and it is out of the way, but if you are, you would be wise to stop grab a bite and hang for a minute!!“

“I really liked the morton culvers, best in area for me. A lot of times, you have to wait in a line, both inside and outside, especially during launching dinner times, but it's worth it. The food is always hot and delicious. we enjoy the big beef pot roast sandwich and make sure to make it a basket. And their custard flavors change every day. Yummm. And as a perk, they offer senior citizen discount!“

“Right when walking into Holland’s Caramelcorn store you are greeted by delicious smells, happy and engaging workers, and a beautiful retro theme! They also partnered with Uncle Bob’s ice cream which is homemade and the best. Don’t miss this stop when visiting Washington!“
