25 Best Ice Cream Shops near Peoria Heights

“Yeni’s Palarte is the best ice cream I’ve had in a very long time. My family and I come here almost weekly. They have so many fun flavors and so many non-dairy options as well for people with allergies. They always make us feel at home anytime we visit. They have great service and excellent ice cream. Their ice cream is so creamy, you can tell it was made fresh. The workers work so hard to make sure you have an exceptional experience each and every time. Perfect ice cream spot! Deserves a 5/5 on every rating!“

“I scream you scream we all scream for Ice Cream“

“Absolutely recommend them. Fast very friendly and always hot food! Never disappointed“

“Yummy sugary cookie ! Not sure it’s worth $5 though! Ordering took some time as one of their order placement machine is broken and no one was at the counter. Well maintained interior and staff seemed professional with the way they handle orders.“

“I had a great experience at Crumbl Cookies in Peoria! The staff was friendly, the store was clean, and my order was ready quickly. Most importantly, all of the cookies were fresh, soft, and delicious. You could tell they had just been made.

The rotating flavors give you something new to try each week, and every cookie in my box tasted amazing. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, I highly recommend stopping by. I’ll definitely be back for more! 🍪😊“

“Super Delicioso todo, un personal muy amable y un lugar muy limpio sin duda lo recomiendo 100%“

“delicious tacos and desserts!!“

“Our family’s absolute favorite place to get ice cream! There is usually a line at night, but it moves quickly and it’s definitely worth the wait! Their vanilla ice cream has the best flavor! I personally love the cookie dough wizard with hot fudge!
Highly recommend!“

“Their ice cream and treats are delicious, so creamy and good. Their service is friendly and kind, and it’s a great community meeting spot. We took our kids, and now love taking our grandkids too. It is ALWAYS a treat to go to the Carius Creamery!“

“I love that they entertain how I tweak my Wizard BUT they need to start cooking the fries longer. The last couple times we've gotten them they've been under done. I know they get busy but I'd rather wait a few minutes instead of getting under cooked fries“

“I had never been to Ernie’s before but we have visited a few times since they reopened. It appears to be similar in pricing to other Tastee Freeze/Dairy Hut type places so we weren’t bothered by cost. The mozz sticks and marinara were delicious and our family really likes the chili dogs, chicken tenders, and potato wedges (my husband says the wedges are very similar to the old ones). Not to mention, their staff is so incredibly nice. We’ll definitely be back!“

“We love Theos. Great place & the owners are great.“

“We love coming here. Great service, really good food, and friendly staff. Their burgers and fries are way better than McDonald's and Burger King. So are the chili cheese fries.“

“ROC has incredible ice cream/ atmosphere. Not to mention fresh new turf on the put course - highly recommend!!!“

“It's right on the corner of the road. Parking might be a little difficult if you are new to this area. Good place for a quick bite. They do make ice cream cake right in front of you if you need them immediately. You can sit outside as well, they have benches.“

“Dairy Queen has always been my favorite ice cream shop - especially the Blizzard and dipped cones.“

“Not only is their food amazing and fast. The staff is amazing. We went today (me my husband and youngest son) after my son had a procedure to get tubes in. They where super genuine about how he was doing. The gentleman who works there (I didn’t catch his name) was such a sweetheart. He came up to talk to us and ask about my son. He also gave him a stuffie. Which made my son smile for the first time after his procedure. THANK YOU FOR THAT! The little gesture was greatly appreciated!“

“I read the reviews and to be honest wasn’t expecting the great service we received. I stopped by with my daughter for a drive thru treat and the ladies were so nice and helpful. When we asked about the different flavors and which flavors would be best on a banana split the lady at the drive thru was very helpful. When we pulled up to pay they were kind and thankful. Even when we received our ice cream they made sure we had spoons and enough napkins… wow. I will definitely go back again…well done ladies this is a rare quality these days.“

“I stopped in for a quick drink while out riding on this hot & humid day. There were no other customers, so I didn't have to wait at all. The gentleman behind the counter greeted me then waited patiently for me to order. The refresher was definitely refreshing & much needed on a scorching day like today.“

“The gentleman in charge did a wonderful job! He explained all of the flavors and went above and beyond to make me and my family feel welcome at home! The service and the flavors are the best. I've tried ice cream around the country and look no further!“

“This is the first time I've ever been in this burger brand, so I ask The cashier (Jocelyn) to recommend me something from the menu, and she was so kind to recommend me The spicy chicken sandwich, The place is clean, service is fast.

The place is packed but not as loud as I expected.

All the employees smile at you when they see you.

The food is good, good taste.

THANK YOU JOCELYN.

make her manager 🙏🏻🤣“

“As always, the food here is great. But the employees make everything even better. I can’t tell you how many of them go out of their way to make going to Culver’s a good experience. I highly recommend going to this Culver’s. It’s evident the workers really care.“

“Great service everytime!“

“Great little place to grab frozen yogurt. Very friendly staff as well!“
