Chicken Wings in Waterloo

“Nice little local diner. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food came out quick, hot and tasty. We each had the Philly cheese steak. I particularly liked the fried mushrooms, fresh and lightly breaded, not the frozen type. They offer daily specials too.“

“Friends brought us here to eat. I don't know if I could find it again. But it would be worth it to try because we had a great dinner! Most of us got the special, which was pork chops, & that was very good. I want to mention the salad bar, though. I haven't seen a good salad bar in years. This was a great salad bar! It's priced either for a single trip or for a full meal. The single trip was prefect for me. And, if I remember correctly, they have all-you-can-eat fried chicken in Sundays. We might need to try to find that soon!“

“We ordered pizza tonight and some sides for future delivery. The driver was on time and very polite. He had called me to let me know they were out of one of the sodas I’d ordered. Since I didn’t pickup, he brought one of everything they had in stock to let me choose. I wish I would have asked his name. I hope he sees this. You obviously love your job. It’s not everyday that someone in customer service goes above and beyond the way you did. You’re amazing and your parents should be very proud of the kind young man they raised 💙“

“We decided to grab a quick supper at Taco Bell/KFC in Waterloo this evening. Errol ordered the K-14 (Crispie Colonel Box) and an order of mashed potatoes. I ordered a grilled steak soft taco and an order of nachos.....did we get what we ordered? NO! I spoke to the manger and told him that my husband’s order was completely incorrect and he made it right, even brought it to our table and apologized several times for the error. As I bit into my soft taco, I noticed there was no meat chunks, it was chicken, so I took it back up and showed him the receipt that I ordered it. I got my new soft taco and just barely sat down and the manager came back over to our table and gave us some chicken and cookies, as a peace offering. There’s some good managers and some not so good. We’re giving this guy 2 thumbs up for rectifying the situation.“

“I went in tonight and it was absolutely insane, very busy. The food was good as always just took absolutely forever, but the service I had while waiting was impeccable. I don’t blame the server obviously for the wait, and she deserves a raise in my opinion, her name was Maggie m and she worked to the bone! She was always checking in on me and her other tables and honestly I felt compelled to leave this review because she was the only server on duty and as a server myself I saw how stressful she looked and she was running around constantly and checking on tables while doing doordash, so I definitely wanted to stay and tip her. She was cleaning, running, doordash, and taking orders all at once and It felt very polite and good service. I also saw her carry 6 plates and cups like a champ! I’ll be coming here more because of her!!😊😊“
