Chicken Wings in Waterloo

“Nice little local diner. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food came out quick, hot and tasty. We each had the Philly cheese steak. I particularly liked the fried mushrooms, fresh and lightly breaded, not the frozen type. They offer daily specials too.“

“Friends brought us here to eat. I don't know if I could find it again. But it would be worth it to try because we had a great dinner! Most of us got the special, which was pork chops, & that was very good. I want to mention the salad bar, though. I haven't seen a good salad bar in years. This was a great salad bar! It's priced either for a single trip or for a full meal. The single trip was prefect for me. And, if I remember correctly, they have all-you-can-eat fried chicken in Sundays. We might need to try to find that soon!“

“We ordered pizza tonight and some sides for future delivery. The driver was on time and very polite. He had called me to let me know they were out of one of the sodas I’d ordered. Since I didn’t pickup, he brought one of everything they had in stock to let me choose. I wish I would have asked his name. I hope he sees this. You obviously love your job. It’s not everyday that someone in customer service goes above and beyond the way you did. You’re amazing and your parents should be very proud of the kind young man they raised 💙“

“We decided to grab a quick supper at Taco Bell/KFC in Waterloo this evening. Errol ordered the K-14 (Crispie Colonel Box) and an order of mashed potatoes. I ordered a grilled steak soft taco and an order of nachos.....did we get what we ordered? NO! I spoke to the manger and told him that my husband’s order was completely incorrect and he made it right, even brought it to our table and apologized several times for the error. As I bit into my soft taco, I noticed there was no meat chunks, it was chicken, so I took it back up and showed him the receipt that I ordered it. I got my new soft taco and just barely sat down and the manager came back over to our table and gave us some chicken and cookies, as a peace offering. There’s some good managers and some not so good. We’re giving this guy 2 thumbs up for rectifying the situation.“

“Pizza Hut has been the best restaurants in Waterloo for a long time! Whenever I've been in the store, it's always been a great time. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always serves us with a smile! Our family has certain dietary issues and they're always willing to help us the best they can. Whenever I'm in town, I'll always pick Pizza Hut.“
