If you haven't been to Outsider bar in Waterloo, Illinois recently, it has changed for the better. During the Covid shutdown extensive interior remodeling has been done. Brighter, cleaner and friendlier. A second Bocce ball court has been installed in the back patio. Bocce ball leagues have been formed and has proven to be the place to be on Thursdays. A down-home bar! Friendly, clean, lively at times, and cold beer! ? You can throw darts inside or enjoy a conversation with friends outside. Attentive and friendly staff! Super clean bathrooms! Nice prices. ??????

This long narrow bar was Packed full of people the night before Christmas Eve. We were a large party celebrating a 21st birthday doing the Waterloo Pub Crawl. We squeezed in, got the two bartenders attention and were provided great service. Then we headed outside to sit by the fire pit out in the fresh air, due to Covid. The place was decorated for Christmas. This is certainly a popular watering hole! You can even buy a t-shirt!
