“There is nothing about this place I don't recommend. The meads are amazing, their Cocktail Master is amazing at coming up with unusual combinations, and is great fun to talk to. “My first visit to Inovasi and it did not disappoint! Our server Lucia was fantastic- knowledgeable friendly and she helped me find just the right cocktail! We started with their delicious bread, and then had the crispy pork belly for appetizer. For entree we had a filet with shaved truffles and a blackened cod with lime and whipped edamame. Both were superb as was the dessert of flourless chocolate cake with raspberry purée and shipped goats cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake. All was delicious, and the ambiance and decor was warm and inviting. We will be back!“

Charcuterie board: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Everything was high quality and really good. The only critique is that the apples tasted really strongly of onions.

Black bean quesadillas w grilled chicken: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Oh man, so good! The chicken tasted like it came off the grill and the shells had a nice pizza oven-style char on them. Flavor was top notch

Lamb bolognese: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was really good too. You get a lot of meat and it's all very tender. The sauce isn't too flavorful but the meat is and they go well together

Key lime pie: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's tart and tastes like real key limes, but it's not bitter. The graham cracker crust is great with it“

“My palette’s lack of sophistication prevents me from doing justice reviewing the menu items I enjoyed, but my belly is satisfied , and there were no leftovers; however, no matter the exquisite culinary notes I, likely, missed that a more refined pallet might’ve identified, there’s no way there was anything on a plate in the Chicago land area this evening that matched the atmosphere, service, and proud history shared by the staff and current owner, a descendant of the original owners who established the restaurant 123 years ago. A truly delightful experience that I intend to repeat as often as I’m able!“
