“What an outstanding Restaurant! I had my daughter's bridal shower at Mio Modo and Michael, the Manager, took care of every detail that I was looking for. The food was excellent, from the appetizer-Calamari to the main meal-Pollo al Limone and Vodka Pasta, to the dessert Tiramisu!! So delicious!! The staff was very attentive and professional. “It’s a nice place to eat. Unfortunately there was a party of 10 celebrating a birthday. They was very loud and obnoxious. Couldn’t really enjoy the atmosphere. Staff didn’t tell them to lower their voices. Maybe they need a special room away from the front so that other paying customers can enjoy their meals and conversations.“

“My husband and I had our 1st meal inside the restaurant. We’d dined on the patio several times. We loved the ambiance inside. We began with the burrata appetizer-outstanding. Rachel, our server, was phenomenal, I liked her so much I even asked her to help me "customize" my pasta dish, which she happily did (and it turned out great! The lobster diavolo but with vodka sauce...keeping the spice level.) Caesar salad good but not traditional...and missing anchovies (I know, I'm weird. Very fresh ingredients though.) We were a party of 6 and everyone loved their food. Reasonable prices too. Will definitely be back! Only wish it weren't so cramped inside.“

“My husband and I owned a mobile Hot Dog Stand I ran it in Northwest Indiana. I sold Bari Beef Sandwiches. I was famous for my Beef sandwiches . I have and will always swear by Bari Beef!!!! We have moved all over the country the last 9 years and just moved to Bartlett Illinois. I just found out I live only 9.8 miles from Bari factory store …… I think I have died and gone to Heaven!!! On a side note. I had a deal for all new customers who questioned whether I had the best beef sandwiches. I told them “You buy my Beef sandwich and if you do t think it’s the best you have ever had I will give you your money back!” I have NEVER had to give anyone their money back!!! “Paisans is quickly becoming one of our favorite restaurants. The bbq chicken salad is my favorite salad in the area. It's hearty, large portion, and always consistent. If you're into chicken vesuvio you should get it here yum yum yum especially the potatoes. We also enjoy their thin cut pizza because it's still thick enough to hold the toppings but is never burnt on the bottom like other places. The meat is quality too when it comes to the toppings we enjoy the pepperoni and sausage. The only potential negative is the restaurant is always extremely noisy but it's a pizzeria and bar so can't really expect anything different and the food is worth it.“

Our group enjoyed the ravioli, peppers, Ron's famous meatballs with garlic bread and salad as well as the chicken parm with rigatoni, peppers, garlic bread and salad. “As a Chef critic i felt this place had a nice atmosphere and friendly service. I had the impression they were slightly understaffed and looks to be family run. The food was decent, however, the plating and some of the dishes were sloppy. A little pricey for the food that was served. I still gave a 4 star as the waitstaff was friendly and excellent.

“I've ordered Lou Malnati's through the mail long distance for a couple years for my birthday without ever having been to an actual location. So my expectations were pretty high when we found out we had a trip to Chicago. We booked these reservations immediately. Honestly, the pizza was better when I could cook it in my own oven and make it a little more crispy with bubbly golden cheese and crust. It tasted a little bland like it needed salt and could've been cooked longer. Otherwise we had a great experience. I will try a different place next time we are in Chicago.“
