“I was delighted to visit this restaurant! The atmosphere is very cozy, with pleasant decor and attentive staff. Every dish I tried was a real masterpiece, from appetizers to dessert. “The care the staff takes with every single one of my orders is always top notch. From the Miso soup, to their deluxe rolls… the flavor in every bite is delicious. Even when it’s a simple take out order, the chef still takes the time to make the platter look cared for and even today, he or she wrote a little picture on the lid of my miso soup container. “We went in on a whim. My kids really wanted to have ice cream at Dairy Queen next door for lunch, lol, but we decided they should actually eat some food. We had never been there, but will definitely be back! It was So good! We had Teriyaki chicken, chicken chow mein, or maybe they were lo mein noodles, and 2 kinds of egg rolls. It was all not only delicious, but different than anywhere else. Those egg rolls were maybe the best we’ve ever had. Even my picky eater kids liked it all! “All I know is that the food is so good that I have been here 3 times since it opened (Which has been less then 6 months). I know I should branch out and try the other offerings but I just really love the Tori Paitan and will be back more when the cooler weather is fully settled in.
I also sincerely appreciate that there are good non-alcoholic mixed drinks, because sometimes someone just wants a fun mixed drink but none of the alcohol and there's quite a few options here- expanded even from the menu pictured on Google. There's a really good Yuzu based drink that I also keep getting that is my favorite.
The atmosphere is higher end but not pretentious, and cozy while still being open.

I look forward to bringing more of my friends here.

Parking: Fair amount of parking but it's in a strip mall with other restaurants so you're not always able to find a spot immediately. There's usually more parking in the back“

It's a little overwhelming, all of the different options, but oh so worth it!

We got the Potato Kong Dog, the Sweet Potato Kong Dog, the Milky Kong Dog, the Original Kong Dog (OGs are always a must) and the Churro Kong Dog, with fries and three different kinds of their lemonade, and oh my goodness it was all so good! We wish we had one of these places in South Bend, Indiana! We would come here all the time if we lived closer.“

The flavors are authentic to Korean food items also. Online you can ask for extra of one the free included sides which is nice. The sides are healthful and tastes great. The staff (diverse staff) and manager (who looked Korean to me which is nice to keep authenticity) are always cleaning...authentic to the Korean way of non stop standards of cleanliness. The bathroom is immaculate and non odorous. I got a glass noodle (which is made of sweet potato) base bowl with tofu (cooked perfectly with just right saltiness, broccoli, beans, steamed and fried potatoes, red cabbage, corn, kale, and KIMCHI of course! What Korean dish comes without kimchi and it's perfect inside bc I grew up adding kimchi to everything like ramen or pizza or soup. Also FREE miso soup w tofu and scallion. You can serve it yourself anytime. Drinks are creative and yummy. Thank you Mr Shin (owner of this chain) for creating such a great deal with yummy Korean foods that help me eat for balance and wellness. Thank you to the manager of this Des Plains location for doing an excellent job! If I could, I would eat here everyday. You won't be disappointed. We ordered the Beef noodle soup spice level 2, chicken pad thai spice level 3, order of sticky buns, crispy egg rolls and crab rangoon. Everything was amazing. Tender beef in the soup, fresh not canned crunchy sprouts, rich broth. My husband loved the heat and fresh veggies in his pad thai. Even after sitting in the bag for about 30 minutes after pick up the rangoons were perfectly crunchy thanks to the venting on the container they put them in. Perfect portions, quality, great price, clean, all staff wearing masks, multiple carry out options in terms of curb side pick up, going in, delivery etc. Highly highly highly recommend.
