He was knowledgeable as to what was or what wasn’t on the mean and made sure that dietary likes or dislikes were met. The most important thing is that when all restaurants have increased their prices, they can still maintain the set meal for Chinese food for only $9.99, including soup and spring rolls! You will not find any Chinese restaurant in the surrounding area with this price and quality! One of my favorite restaurants, it is a great place for family gatherings or meeting with friends!

This is a Chinese Sichuan restaurant, so the main dishes are spicy. Customers who can't eat spicy food should consider it carefully, but many of their non-spicy dishes are also very good.“

My family was out and I was on my own recovering from a surgery and felt like treating myself so I figured “ let’s get a bit fancy and order PF Chang”. What a huge mistake that was. The beef with Broccoli had les than 2 oz of beef for $30. I have included a comparison between Hunan Palace’s beef with vegetables vs what I received from PF. Hunan Palace blows PF away! Additional I have had very good luck requesting modifications, I like extra spicy and extra sauce, Human honored my request while PF did not. I think the pics tell all“

I am a FAN of chinese food, but no where around suburbs and chicago will you find such FRESH food! Veggies are perfectly done, meat is perfectly cooked! Sauce is amazing taste! I had their Happy Family Dish , Chicken fried rice and Khan Pau Chicken .

“Our order was ready 10 minutes early so we were glad we came early. There was one table of diners in a relatively nondescript dining room but lots of carry out orders. Our egg rolls were tasty but without the traditional Chinese fried outside. These were pretty greasy but had more meat than vegetables which was a pleasant surprise. They came only with a Chile sweet sauce and it added to the taste. Our potstickers were just ok and had a slightly gooey exterior. \nOur main courses included Mongolian beef which was much higher quality beef than most places offer. Nice flavor and sauce. Our noodle dish with chicken was also flavorful as were the moo shu chicken ingredients. \nPrices were on the high side but the portions were generous and the quality deserved it. The value was great and we would return.“

“We have been going to Chinatown Kitchen since their kids were little and now they are in college. The food has always been fresh and delicious. Takeout area always clean and you can see an area of kitchen same way. We have certain preferences that we do not want put into the food and we are very happy the results and the tastes. “I ordered the Dragon & Phoenix dish for takeout. The description sounded great: fresh shrimp, chunks of chicken, bok choy, mushrooms, snow pea pods, water chestnuts, and bamboo shoots. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t live up to the expectations.

The biggest issue was the chicken. It was dry, tough, and tasted like it had been cooked a long time ago and just reheated. It was very unpleasant to chew and really took away from the dish. The shrimp, on the other hand, were good — fresh and tender. Most of the vegetables were also fine.

However, the dish was missing two of the listed ingredients: bamboo shoots and water chestnuts. Their absence noticeably affected the texture and overall experience.

This dish could have been delicious, but the poor quality chicken and missing ingredients really ruined it. I hope more attention is paid to preparation and order accuracy in the future.“

“Great, hot, fresh food. Authentically prepared. Old school atmosphere. Over the last few years, this place changed hands and took a beating from reviewers. All I know is I've continued to come throughout their transition and today at lunch was the best I've had. Accept their niche and you'll agree that they earn about 5 stars. Massive takeout biz sometimes gets in the way of the dining room, but not today at lunch. Oh, and the lunch specials are bountiful and served till 3pm. Beef Almond Ding, Fried rice, H&S soup included. Worth adding a traditional egg roll. Prepared, seasoned and rolled perfectly. I'm a sucker for pot stickers and the fried didn't disappoint either. I'll come again... Before 3:00, and enjoy a feast.

Sometimes the food comes out tasting a little weird but it’s still pretty enjoyable.
