“Food was good and hot. Had a burger, breaded chicken sandwich, regular and curly fries. Order at counter and they bring it to you. Restroom was clean. This was our first time there. Will visit again when in the area. They have lots on the menu as well as ice cream“

“Great Restaurant!! We went with friends (4 of us). The restaurant was full but we were seated quickly. Service was good and the menu had lots of entree choices. My choice was the Fried Catfish - It appeared that it was way too much but I was able to eat all of it. The Salad Bar came with the meal and i actually made a couple of trips. The food was fresh and delicious. My husband had catfish also but he ordered it without the bones. We both enjoyed the meal. The bones were no problem as the fish meat easily was removed from the bones.“

“My husband and I live in Granite City and yesterday we made the trip to Manchester, IL (near Roodhouse) to visit my husband's dad's grave. On the way home we stopped here. It was obvious from the second we walked in that it was family-owned type of place. Very welcoming and friendly environment. Our waitress was the owner's daughter, and she couldn't have been sweeter. We split a double cheeseburger, fish and fries. Very good food and service! We definitely plan to go back, and we would absolutely recommend this place to others. :-)“
