I had the meatball salad, we shared the brussel sprouts, and sampled some Whistlepig Rye and a beer we'd never heard of. “We held a celebration of life for my brother here today. About 50 in attendance in the stylish, comfortable upstairs area. Despite the fact that I planned this from 400 miles away and without having ever seen the venue, it went off without a hitch due to Mr. David Candiotti and his staff. No surprises. Everything was as promised. The venue is extremely stylish and rustic. Food was delicious and plentiful as were the drinks. Service was fast, efficient and friendly thanks to Mona, Alberto and Olena. I highly recommend.“

“Stopped into Sebastian's Ale & Whiskey House for a late lunch, and it was a great find. They have a large menu with plenty of options, plus some really good daily specials. The bartender was welcoming, attentive, and even pointed out where the specials were on the menu so I wouldn't miss them, which I really appreciated.

The atmosphere is perfect if you're looking to catch a game, with TVs throughout the restaurant. I was also impressed by how inclusive their menu is. In addition to a dedicated vegan menu, they offer a non-alcoholic drink menu with vegan, gluten-free, and lactose-free options, making it easy for people with different dietary preferences to find something they'll enjoy.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience with good food, friendly service, and lots of choices. If I'm passing through the area again, I'd definitely stop in for another meal.“

“Jeff and his staff were extremely accommodating to our group of 10 ladies all celebrating a big birthday. I called requesting the private dining area and he made sure no one else was seated near us. We were able to have separate checks which isn’t always possible with a large group and even let us bring in birthday cupcakes to share. It’s hard to find a location in Lemont that can accommodate a large group that offers a more private dining area, but Jeff was more than happy to help!“

I ordered the philly egg roll and the j*** chicken egg roll. They were both very tasty. I will return to try others.“

“I love Standard Market's Seeded Rye Bread! It is one of the best rye breads to be found anywhere in the west suburbs. Unfortunately the last two loaves I bought are so very , very salty? I do bake bread myself (not as good as Standard Market's) I am aware of the role of salt, sugar etc. and their proportions, so why this extremely salty version ?“
