Restaurants in Wood River

“Great food. Had the All American burger. Nice and juicy. The bacon and onions were cooked just right.”

“Parking lot on both sides of the building, but only enter building from one parking lot. Weekdays, only the bar side is open for seating. There's a 2nd room for seating on weekends. We left after dark, and the doorway leading to the parking lot is double door without lighting. If someone struggles walking, there's limited room, and limited handrail assistance.”

“Best Chinese take out in the area, after moving to this area I tried multiple restaurants before I decided to try hing wah and ever since then this is the only Chinese take out place I go to. From the authenticity, to the size portions, and food always being hot and fresh, hing wah chop suey does it the best!! My go to place”

“the food is always great, the service is above and beyond! and the waitresses are always there to greet you with a smile!”

“Friendly service and great food. Sure, it’s not as quick as McD’s, but at lunchtime, cooking to order for a crowd takes a little more time! We will definitely be back!”

“We love this restaurant. The food is always good, ample servings, friendly staff, checking back with us ti make sure food is all right. Our daughter and her husband when in town always wants to go to the restaurant.”

“Best Mexican restaurant in the area and it’s not even close !! The carnitas and the chipotle mango shrimp tacos are like god himself cooked them absolutely 🔥”

“Had a great time Saturday night at Chicos Bar & Grill 😎 Special thanks to everyone who came out and to the owners and staff for having us! 💚🙏 They have great food here and the Cajun Catfish Bites were great! 👍💥 We have no further dates scheduled here but hope to return in 2026! 🎶☮️🎸”

“Came on Friday night twice, then on a Monday and I was disappointed that the green beans only available on steak nights. The green beans are excellent. I would pay fornthe recipe.”

“Grabbed some lunch today w my man daughter & best friend - amber was our waitress & was beyond amazing!! Literally deserves a raise. Drinks never went empty always was making sure we had what we need. My wings came out with bbq on them instead of on the side and she walked over quickly and told the food runner / other waitress that they were not right before they even got placed on the table! Will ask for her everytime we come in from now on!! ❤ We also ended up leaving my daughters favorite blues clues book behind that’s also a library book we’ve had to recheck out 85838 times that she ran outside to us as we was about to leave! 10000/10”

“1-23-2025 @ 4:55 pm the employee with the tan beanie on actually read each line on the receipt and checked to make sure everything was there. I didn't have to ask her for the extra sauce cup that is stored separately from the hot food order!!
The only down side was the sauce cups seemed low. I would rather pay extra and have them filled at least 3/4 full. For now I'll just buy EXTRA EXTRA cups 😆”

“I bring all the ladies here”

“This is the best Burger King in my area. Ashley N. always gets the order right. I have been going here for a couple years. I have never been parked waiting on an order. The sandwiches are hot and made to order every time. Keep up the good work everyone it’s amazing.”
